  1. Honestly I use to only play Titleist balls, but there are so many good options out there now. I really think Titleist isn't as good as they once were. Hit the AP2 and the 917 Driver, both were meh.
  2. So what will the going rate be on eBay now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. If I am able to play I will donate a dozen. I play 4 times a week on average, so I tend to play through a bunch of balls. I was lucky to get some on their first run and the last run I was able to "stock up"
  4. I have 13 dozen at my house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I played 16 today, got dark on me. Hit trees a few times. Wear marks but still playable on a day like today. Compared to my round yesterday with a Srixon AD 330 tour I picked up last year, the Kirkland was longer and and better into the greens. I was not surprised. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I feel like I should get a prize for starting this thread, lol. Merry Christmas off to hit some Kirklands! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I am curious if Golf Digest will include them in their Hot List.
  8. Breed keeps talking about Quality Control, which is fair, however, I didn't listen to the show, but have seen what he says on twitter. My question is this, did he even mention that the manufacture of the ball has been making balls for a long time. I would think/hope they have solid QC. I have played through a dozen and no issues. Also Costco back their products 100%. I am sure if they were to get a ton of returns due to bad quality they would do something about it.
  9. If I could I would. I think the big guys are scared at the moment. and If Bubba really goes to Volvik, watch out. To play golf has become so expensive, greens fees are around $65 on the weekend on average I would guess. I am fortunate enough to be able to belong to a club, but I still try and find the best deals possible, heck I even joined my club on a promotional deal. Anyone who loves golf should be happy about this. A solid product at a good price will only help other areas, lessons, greens fees, other equipment. The ball saving will trickle into those other areas.
  10. Imagine that, guys who are getting paid by companies ( Breed -Titleist, Haney- Callaway) are trying to stop the hype of a product that may be just as good for a whole lot cheaper. I saw some "pro" tweet that seeing Kirkland on a ball did not "inspire" him like seeing Titleist does. Really? A name brand/logo inspire you to play golf? I do think they hype for this ball is beyond crazy, people buying tons of stock, I am guilty because who knows if Costco will be able to meet the demand. But I think the ball 1) suits my game very well and 2) you cant beat the price if the ball suits your game. I do find it funny that Breed preaches getting fit and finding what is right for your game, then slams a legit product he probably never has nor never would try.
  11. My nuts are still out playing golf, even before this year when I moved I still played two rounds a month. Plus it is xmas, so I am sure people are buying them for presents. And who knows when they will have them in stock again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. But people are buying them off ebay at those prices. I would not but people are. I really like the Snell and Vice balls personally, but shipped for $17.50 a dozen its just too good to pass up. I am not just hyping for the sake of hyping, but for me around the greens is where is ball is the best for my game. I can get it to check or roll out if need be. Some balls for me only seem to do one or the other. I just hope for other golfers sake that Costco can keep these on the shelves. I am stocked up for a good while now, 13 dozen.
  13. Back online today, my sister in law was able to get an order though. my wife and i had so many issues. seems like a lot of people did.
  14. I am interested in these, however why take a shot at another golf ball? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Kept thinking about the Callaway apex hybrids. Was in goldsmith and picked up a 3&4 for $175 each. Then kept thinking I should have gotten the 5 as well. Long irons are my enemy. Just looking at my numbers, 10hcp, 115 mph driver swing, one would think I would be fine but it hurts my game. So I found a like new 5 hybrid for $150, can't wait to hit it this weekend! 16. I am sure Costco made sure the ball would not let them be sued by another company Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I agree, and tell people, it is comparable to the ProV1x. The numbers in the review pretty much sum up how I felt about playing the ball.
  18. 1-- I have not bought anything based off a single review, however it helped me to understand the different choices that are being offered and I was able to see if my thoughts were confirmed or not by various reviews. 2- Yes, I tend to try and look past the brand name and look at the results. When I purchased my last set of irons I really tried to understand the club, loft, lie, materials ect before I bought. 3- I think the products have helped lower my scored, but also the work I put into getting better with my game. 4- I think better scores make it more enjoyable
  19. Played 18. Hits trees cart paths and lots of greens. One ball whole round, held up very well. I am really impressed with the way they grab the green on chips, I am able to attack the pin with no fear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
