  1. Oh yeah it isn’t the tee, it is having the same tee height every time. As rounds wore on the wooden tees would creep up on me. I’m sure I’ll be cussing these things next time out. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. I've been raving about this tee for the last couple of months so I thought I'd start a thread and provide a quick update. MGS did a test on these awhile back that you can read about here: https://mygolfspy.com/mygolfspy-labs-golf-tee-wars/ I have been using the 4 More Yards Blue Tee for about three months and measuring all my drives with my Garmin S60 watch. Using a standard tee I was averaging about 222 of the tee with a long of 239. With the 4MY Blue tee my average went to 239 with a long of 259. I think the biggest benefit for me was the consistent tee height. About 3 rounds ago I was popping everything up with my driver so in true Wedgie fashion rather than practice I purchased the 4MY Yellow tee which is a bit shorter than the blue. Two rounds in I am averaging 253 off the tee, long of 289 with 3 drives over 280. I have been using the Z Star and all but one round on the same course and all with an XXIO driver. Only change is the tee. I convinced my stubborn kid to try them and I don't measure his drives but I can certainly see more consistent ball striking off the tee. Consider this a PSA for those that struggle with consistency off the tee like I did and please let me know if you've had this kind of success with this or any other tee.
  3. Picked up a new Cleveland Halo hybrid last night. Got the 16 degree 2 hoping at 3 inches shorter than my Cobra f8 3 wood I can maintain the distance but pickup a ton of accuracy. Won't get to hit it until Friday but will let everyone know how it goes.
  4. Great job guys! Awesome getting so much time with your kids helping them learn the game. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  5. Is it too late to enter my normal fantasy team in this league?
  6. Does Ping pick where you go to get fit? If so I’m curious where they send you. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Side by side Turbos on the left. Hard to see but smaller top line, darker face with same footprint. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. I thought they’d be too light for me as well but they seem to work. Then again my driver shaft is 43 grams. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. I really liked the look of the UHX irons. They certainly felt firmer than the Launchers. Although I'm sure they are very forgiving they didn't seem to be in the same league as the Launchers. I am coming from the original Launchers but have played maybe 6 or 7 rounds recently with the Srixon Z585 irons and the Srixons felt much better than the UHX irons but they have Recoil Smacwrap graphite shafts which I'm sure contribute to the soft feeling. I went with the stock graphite because that is all I could try and they feel amazing to me. I think both sets are worth looking at. The thing with me is the Launchers and the results I've gotten with them bias me in that direction. Good luck!
  10. I hit steel and graphite in both the Launchers and UHX irons. The graphite Launchers were the clear winner so I pulled the trigger. After a minor grip tweak on the back nine yesterday I knew I made the right choice. The weight is much more in line with the rest of my clubs and it seemed like I was hitting all clubs better as the day went on. If you recall my wife got me the original Launchers in graphite and they were a mess. These feel much better for some reason and pretty much center of the face contact all day and nothing fat or thin.
  11. I'll try to take some side-by-side pics when I go home for lunch today.
  12. Yes, all the same characteristics and the ball stops on a dime when it hits the green. You should give them whack! You know you miss them!
  13. Well, after a store credit and some trade in clubs I got them for $0.73 with a dozen golf balls. Can’t beat that deal. Straight from the box to the first tee with no warm up and shot a 47/39. I had no issue with the looks of the old Launchers but these look better. Cleaner and sleeker is the best way to put it. It was really windy but they do seem a bit longer for me or at least the distance seemed to come a little easier if that makes any sense. Like the old Launchers when I didn’t think I got all of it the ball still seemed to go the planned distance. I didn’t trade in the original Launchers so hopefully I can get them to russtopher so he can join the movement. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

  15. In stores already. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  16. You have got to try them. My only regret is not getting a real good fit for these when I got mine. In hitting other clubs this year I have found that a little heavier shaft works best for me. The Cleveland fitting cart is usually only the two stock shafts they offer and they use the 6 iron head. If they used the 7 iron head there would be the option to utilize the Srixon fitting cart that usually has a ton of shaft options. Even off the rack they will be an upgrade for most golfers.
  17. My Launchers could be in trouble once I see the new ones in person. Since I got them here I will gladly pass them on to you if you want to give them a whack or two. Let's chat October 4th.
  18. Watson will be next on the IR. How about you guys make an offer on Mahomes.
  19. I played with my son the other day who just started playing this summer. We just upgraded him to a Tour Edge Bazooka box set putter thru driver. On number 9 he played his ball with the Bazookas and he played my ball with the Launchers. He hit the Launchers way better but said he couldn’t stand looking at them. Little brat! He played the hole 1 over with the Launchers and had a triple with his clubs. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  20. I just saw a commercial on the Golf Channel for the new HB irons. Wasn’t really paying attention but it surprised to see the commercial but nothing on the Cleveland site yet. No mention of the CBX. I think they were called Launcher Hb Turbo irons but don’t hold me to it. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  21. Wait...what? You going to drop this bomb and walk away? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  22. Even though I’m off to a 1 and 1 start I’m ready to blow my team up. I’m not looking for back up bench warmers like I’ve been offered. Bring me legit deals guys. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
