Got out today in 43 degrees after a day of rain. Sloppy wet mess, temporary greens in fairways but I was the only guy out there. I played 3 balls and here are my takeaways: ball compression doesn’t matter in cold weather and making all my wedges 36 inches long was a really good decision for me. It’s a little of both I think. I’m going to start in the morning by doing as many as I can before and after a shower. At work isn’t an option but if I go home for lunch I’ll bang a few more out. The bathroom isn’t an option at work because I’d be like a dog drinking from a bowl the way the crapper is set up. Finding time to do 1 set of 4 then 33 sets of 3 each day is a whole other issue. You get one bet - over/under or pick the winner against the spread? I think Alabama wins but will pick Clemson getting the points. Who do you have or you going over/under?

I'll join in the fun on one condition...no shirtless progress updates from anyone. That happens I'll give it a shot but will have to work my way up to 100 a day. I suffer from long arms as well Shankster, mine happen to be skinny too!

I have 6 or 7 pairs of golf shoes in rotation. I noticed that for whatever reason I score better when I wear Nike Roshe golf shoes. I don't know why but I do know these shoes seem to keep my heals a little more elevated than the Addidas, FJ or Eccos I wear. Can this small of a detail impact scoring? Can this small of a detail confirm I'm nuts for even considering it? We all talk about comfort and durability so is this even a consideration for anyone? I'm curious if others have noticed better scoring from a pair of shoes?
