  1. I got a great deal so I joined a club for the first time in my life about 3 weeks ago. I've gotta say the skill level at the club is so much better than on the public courses I played all the time. Going into this I guess I figured the level of play would be the same. Boy was I wrong. Is this par for the course so to speak and what others have witnessed? Don't want to be a snob but it is so much more enjoyable playing with higher level players and it would be hard to go back to public courses. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  2. These are good balls but switched to ole grays new ball of choice and love‘ em. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  3. Played 9, didn't keep score, but played match play 3 against 1 from the tips. The 1 is defending club champ and we won 1 up. The club champs 70 year old dad carried our asses. Won $2. Boom! Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  4. My Launchers haven't found a lie they didn't like to be honest. My big concern going in was lies in the rough but they have out performed any other iron I have used in this area. I will be a bit more in depth on this very topic in stage 2. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  6. So my index sits at 9.3. My club course handicap is 11. If your club handicap is 0-9.9 you can't take more than a double bogey on any hole. If it is 10-19.9 you can't take more than a 7 on a hole. So where do I fall given my index is 9.3 but my course handicap is 11? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  7. Yep, the 4 iron is the money club and I would buy a 2 and 3 as well. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  8. I'll vouch for this. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Back on topic it was a beat down. Too bad last nights comeback ended at 12:49am this morning otherwise more Yanks fans could have watched. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Thanks...I can't wait to post my stage 2 review on these and explain how they have helped my game so much. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  11. Ha, I'd have to tee up 3 times to get there. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  12. I always seem to buy just before it becomes an incredible deal. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  13. I've played 9 different sets of cavity back Irons the last 6 years and my index bounced around between 12 and 15. Sitting at a 9.1 with 6 weeks of gaming the Cleveland Launcher HB Irons. Maybe not for everyone but worth a look. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. As much as I'd love to throw Srixon irons in my bag the Cleveland irons I am playing have been awesome. I really wish more people would pay attention to these clubs. Looking forward to more detail. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

    Happy thread

Congrats....I have twins. Feed them at the same time, try to make them sleep at the same time and teach them to wipe their own butts ASAP. Good luck they will be a blast. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  16. The comments on things like this are the best. “Close the internet, he has won”. Funny stuff. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  17. So this is better than just using a regular leather glove? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  18. Hi, I don't wear a glove when I play and my latest set of clubs have the Golf Pride CP2 grips on them. I've been playing a lot more late in the day and the heat and humidity have made these grips almost impossible for me to hold on to during my swing. 1. Is there a grip that would be better suited for these conditions? 2. Would just buying a glove be the quicker fix? Thanks!
  19. Pfft...I think we'd like to see a little more effort from you next time. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. I'd say they odds of your wife out driving me off the tee are much greater than having this happen. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. I would but not you because I'd walk out of the lesson playing blades. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  22. It sounds like you've earned that new set of clubs....enjoy! Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

Boy I wish I could help you here but have never played from a pot bunker. It gets the ball up quickly but I'd hate to give the thumbs up without that experience first hand. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

I purchased one when I started the Launcher HB iron review. It is great for fluffy sand. Gets me out every time as long as I hit sand first. In firm sand I have struggled with it and found that the regular CBX wedge was better. I used to use my 58* for full shots but can't hit this at all for anything other than sand or short chip shots. All in all a good purchase for me since getting out of the sand was my priority. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
