Congrats Rev! What is impressive from my perspective is the thought and effort you have put into every post that I come across. Sure, you welcome people but it isn't the cut and paste 30 welcomes once a week. As a less knowledgeable golfer your responses to my posts have been very much appreciated. 2. I was providing an example. I haven't changed my mind about anything. I certainly could have been more clear however. Let me rephrase the question. If you were fit a year ago for irons and they were stolen would you be comfortable buying a new set of irons from a different brand using those same specs assuming no swing changes? 3. I am just curious more than anything. So although I have been fit for clubs in the past I wonder if those specs would carry over to a new set in the future. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  4. I am talking about shaft, shaft length, lie and swing weight mostly. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  5. With all the clubs you buy you'd be getting fittings prior to each round. Seriously though thanks for your input. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  6. Good news bad news round for me. Broke 80 for the first time this year and shot 79 for the good news. Bad news is I did it with my old set of irons and not the new F8 One Length I purchased earlier this year. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  7. I will second that. They have added shot tracking as well. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  8. I am curious about this and maybe you guys can help. If you recently had an iron fitting and were fit to let's say Mizuno irons but change your mind a week later and decide you want Titleist irons. Would you go through the entire fitting process again or just match the specs from your prior fitting and order the Titleist irons? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  9. Actually darts is on right now on 11SportsHD but I passed it by to watch Casino. I would have watched but the National Cornhole Championships I watched last week are still too fresh in my mind to watch darts. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  10. Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it. I keep a handicap for a buddy trip and try to be honest with where my game is. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

  12. I keep an “official” handicap on The Grint for no more than just my own use. No tournaments or anything. The last 3 rounds I've played have been on courses with plinko like greens due to aeration. For those that keep an official handicap do you count these types of rounds towards your handicap? Thanks! 13. A club longer for me is about 10 yards so is that still an extreme difference? It would be great to be half a club longer so if I was in between I could tee it up or not. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  14. It makes me think I'm catching turf before ball. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  15. Yeah, the first time I thought I flushed it but the other 3 holes it became a trend. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  16. I thought I'd give a little update as we await the Cobra Challenge reviews. The little update is I love the clubs but I have gone through a lot with them as well. My distance control has been all over the place and finding the sweet spot in terms of ball placement has been a challenge. That being said I was ready to trade them in when I found a guy that would adjust the lie angles. I was told they couldn't t be bent because they were cast. Either way, I took a half inch off them, removed Arccos and adjusted the lie angles and made them all 63 degrees. Since that time I have played great golf. Pre adjustments I was averaging 4 GIR and 3 rounds since the change it is up to 8 a round. Handicap is trending down and between using the same ball and the adjustments my distance control has never been better. It really makes me wonder why they went with different lie angles but either way the clubs have been a ton of fun....well they have been the last 3 rounds anyway. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  17. I'm sure the debate about teeing it up or not on a par 3 has been debated over and over on this forum. This isn't about that. I never tee it up on 3's but for whatever reason I did last time out. What I noticed is I was a club longer when teeing it up. Question is is this normal? Is it a reflection of my ball striking from the turf? Others experience this? Any input is appreciated. Wedgie Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  18. I'll think about it when what I want to watch is interrupted by this event. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  19. I am glad to hear it is working well for you. I love the technology just couldn't get along with the darn thing for whatever reason. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  20. Thank you for saving me the time writing the same thing. Had mine removed on Saturday and played my best round of the year Sunday. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  21. First round out after I had some minor adjustments made to my one length irons and shot 41/40 with a triple bogey on 17. Best round of the year so far. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  22. Very well said and I couldn't agree more. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  23. I'd say Bob Marley as the artist since it is an island. Gotta go artist since one song over and over would drive me nuts. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  24. I've been playing my F8 One Length irons for about 3 months now. I have noticed a definite tendency to pull lob-9 and push 5-7. 8 is money. I thought I'd check lie angle specs and I understand their rationale to have different lie angles is because you swing longer irons harder, toe down, etc... But if I look at their specs online they seem to be opposite of the F8 variable length irons. What I mean is the long irons have a lower lie angle and the short irons have a higher lie angle. Shouldn't this be the other way around? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
