  1. You'll be a full time smoker after stage 2. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  2. 1. Coming from the Cobra Single Length irons the flight seems lower to me. I love the Cobra wedges and that has been the hardest part of the Launchers to get used to for me. 2. N/A 3. I have a cheap MaxFli bag from Dicks with 15 dividers and no issues getting them in and out of the bag. If anything the larger heads reduce chatter since they all kind of touch each other already. My durability has been much better than the Cobras and are in line with the durability I have with my Mizuno Hot Metals. EDIT: I forgot to comment on the wind. I have seen some windy days with these and for me since I try to hit everything high and straight they are no different than any other irons I have played in these conditions.
  3. Congrats on both achievements. The key to breaking 80 now lies within the Launcher HB iron reviews. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. Whatever you do do not gamble against a man playing the Launcher HB Irons. You've been warned. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. You're a senior with back problems and you still hit it farther than I do but we are very close. That being said I shot the round of my life on a course that was just over 6500 yards about a month ago with a 76. Any farther than that I struggle to be honest. If your back holds up go have fun. 6. I've been using the Grint for 6 years now. I have used it to play in member guest events without issue for those 6 years. I do the free version but get emails quarterly with a special offer to become a pro member for $15. This year they added the “attest” feature so it helps to have a buddy you play with regularly to attest your scores. I joined a country club and played my first 18 there today and the pro signed me up for a club handicap. He asked if I had a handicap and when I said I used the Grint he said he could use that as a starting point but I said don't worry about it. Had I known I would have gotten more detail. 8. I drink 4 or 5 beers, get a ride to Dicks Sporting Goods and fire away with all the putters. I pick the one with the second best results and that seems to be what works best for me on the course. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  9. I am stealing your line for my launcher hb iron review regarding insecurity. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

  11. Sorry I can't just share the link since I am mobile. In not so surprising news, Golf Channel and NBC saw record numbers during their coverage of the 2018 Open Championship. There is a very easy explanation for this: Tiger Woods. Woods was not only in contention on Sunday, he led the tournament for a while on the back nine. The first round of The Open on Thursday, which earned a 0.79 overnight rating, was the most watched in its three years on Golf Channel. It was also the most-watched Thursday ever, and the fifth best total day record for the channel between 2006 and 2018. To make things even more impressive, Golf Channel was the number one rated cable sports network for the day by 9%, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern it was the number one cable sports network by 314%. Friday coverage of the second round was just as impressive, earning a 0.87 overnight rating. The early round coverage was up 4% over 2017, and was up 11% for the day, making it the most-watched weekday broadcast since the 2016 Ryder Cup Friday. The third round on Saturday earned a 3.0 overnight rating, which was up 25% over 2017. It was the highest third round rating since 2013 when Phil Mickelson won, and the second highest overnight rating in a major in 2018 (the Masters leads that category). TV viewership was up 21% over 2017, and streaming viewership was up 23% over 2017. The final round on Sunday is where things get even more impressive and show just how much Tiger Woods being in contention on Sunday in a major means to the sport. Sure Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy were in the hunt, but Tiger moves the needle. NBC Sports' final round coverage saw the best ratings for The Open Championship in 18 years with a 5.0 overnight rating. It is the highest final round overnight rating since Tiger completed the career grand slam in 2000 (which earned a 7.4 overnight rating on ABC). NBC's coverage was also up a staggering 38% over 2017 when Jordan Spieth won at Royal Birkdale. This was the highest rated final round for any major championship since 2015, not including the Masters, when Jason Day's win at Whistling Straights in the PGA Championship earned a 5.1. Tiger Woods is back, and fans of the sport aren't the only ones who are happy. NBC Sports could not have asked for a better weekend. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  12. The grint gives one stroke for the same one stroke penalties you get on the course. They also add .5 strokes for bunkers whether greenside or fairway. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. If you hit your 7 iron straight you will hit the Cobra single length 3H straight. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  14. Hmmm....so much for that idea. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  15. He reviewed the Wilson c300s and felt he needed more forgiveness. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  16. You could try the Launcher HB 4 iron. Plays like an iron but gets up like a hybrid. No draw bias but I can't remember the loft on it. The other option I use is the Cobra single length 3H. Straightest club I have and if you've seen my swing that is saying something. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  17. Great post but did you have to drag the Patriots into this? [emoji3] Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  18. Get a current touring pro to attend, participate in the golf and evening activities. He could play with a group or if enough people attend he could stay at one hole and groups could try to beat him on the hole. Beat the pro get some swag, lose to the pro donate $10 to MGS. Cash on the spot. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  19. For me it would be playing 36 in the day and just hanging out in the evening. A place you can grill outdoors, drink some beers, meet the staff and other members just to shoot the s***. Might be boring to others but I'm probably not going to catch a flight to demo clubs after a day of golf. I'd rather meet some members. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  20. Nice job guys. Can any of you tell me how beneficial the slope function is to you? For example have you changed your club selection because of it? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  21. I had never seen my swing on video until I did it for my stage one review and now with the ole gray post. Honestly, I wish I had never seen it. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  22. For those curious I hit 7 iron. 148 to the flag with no wind. Club did what it said it would do, high with soft landing. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  23. Thanks Rob! Yep I hit the putt. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  24. I did get it resolved. I lugged it back to where I bought it, showed them the problem and they replaced it on the spot. I may have just gotten a lemon as the new one is much smoother to open and close as well as no handle issues. I love it. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
