  1. Hey, I live in Rhode Island, but I grew up in Kansas. In Kansas things slow down because we let everyone in which holds up traffic. Sucks being nice! Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  2. My handle adjustment stripped and they want to send me a kit to fix it. Have you had any issues like that? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. I'm glad to hear you are liking the Launchers. I haven't even hit mine yet. Damn work and now weather. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  4. May I ask why? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  5. And your comments make me think of Joey Chestnut slamming hot dogs on The 4th of July. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  6. Seriously thinking about the XXIO X Driver. Went to a Srixon demo day and hit this thing and boy oh boy. I have never experienced anything quite like it in terms of feel and ease of use. Never thought a 42 gram shaft might work for me. If anyone gets a chance to hit this driver do it. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

    Grilling

I use a Weber gas grill. The Weber instructions said sear on direct high heat for 6 minutes. Move to indirect heat for another 6 minutes. They were pretty thick, maybe 1 1/4”. Tasted like pork jerky. They looked great coming off the grill. I'll stick to burgers or try low and slow next time. Thanks for the tips. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

    Grilling

Just made pork chops on the grill for dinner. Over cooked and chewy, family is still hungry so headed out for ice cream. What is your go to grill recipe. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  9. Yep, I think they cut back to Callaway, Taylor Made, Ping and their house brand Tommy Armour at least for clubs. Can't get my Wilson balls in store anymore either. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  10. Good news bad news round for me. Broke 80 for the first time this year and shot 79 for the good news. Bad news is I did it with my old set of irons and not the new F8 One Length I purchased earlier this year. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  11. I am glad to hear it is working well for you. I love the technology just couldn't get along with the darn thing for whatever reason. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  12. Thank you for saving me the time writing the same thing. Had mine removed on Saturday and played my best round of the year Sunday. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  13. First round out after I had some minor adjustments made to my one length irons and shot 41/40 with a triple bogey on 17. Best round of the year so far. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  14. Very well said and I couldn't agree more. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  15. I have no idea why other than I was amazed there is a cornhole league to begin with. I didn't realize there was professional team bowling either until I saw it on ESPN earlier today. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  16. Johnsonville Cornhole Championship. Don't judge me! Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

  19. I went to a “top 100” fitter for an iron fitting last year. Instead of the top 100 guy I got the JV squad or fitter in training. I wasn't pleased during the fitting but figured he knew better than I so I made the purchase. Traded the clubs in for an off the rack set 2 months later and game went right back to normal. The other day I was playing as a single and caught the twosome in front of me. Turns out one of them I played a scramble with last year. They picked me for the team because I could drive it around 220. That made me the bomber on the team. I know right....we didn't win. Anyway, I have a new driver that gets me to 240 or so. The dude tells me he went to the same fitter, actually got the top 100 guy, and was blowing the ball by me. So does fitting matter? If done so properly then absolutely. If done poorly it leaves a really bad taste in the mouth and a general distrust of the process. I would never recommend the fitter I went to until I saw this guy hit his driver. But even then you need to make sure you get the right guy. Confusing? It is for guys like me that have average knowledge about the process. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. I walk whenever it is allowed. Upped my game this year with a Clicgear model 8 and it is like having an ATV in the course. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. Shot an 87 but Arccos had me at a 69. First time breaking 70. I guess it's time to edit the app. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  22. That is awesome...congrats on your personal best! Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  23. I believe the recommendation is to cut the screw portion of the sensor off and tape the sensor on with something like electrical tape. Just make sure you don't cover the actual sensor. Option 2 would be to add putts manually but you must have a synced putter sensor to allow for that option. So sync the sensor then leave it at home. Option 2 may not be the best option for the official testing but it does identify a compatibility issue with some putters. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  24. Not sure why I don't like Villanova but I don't. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  25. I have the 3 and 4 hybrids with my F8 One length Irons and love them. A little longer than what I had and a million times straighter. I highly recommend these clubs even if you use variable length Irons they are that good. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
