I got the 3 hybrid but only 9 holes under my belt. It’s a hair longer carry than my standard 2 hybrid but the 2 rolls out a lot more. Ordered the 4 today. I had the F8 one lengths and couldn’t hit the 5 iron at all. With the F9s it has been my favorite club. Swing speed around 82-84 with plenty of elevation and carries about 165-170. It makes me think I may not need the 4 hybrid. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

I started a thread somewhere on here about a Srixon Z Star I had for 108 holes which is 6 rounds. The ball held up well but that 6th round there was noticeable distance loss. By my calculations that is about 84 driver swings at only about 95 MPH.

I played a round with Dean Snell in March and asked him if balls go bad. He said they are designed to last around 120 driver swings. I left it at that and didn't want to be the guy that asked a million questions.

I'm having a lot of fun playing the F9 one length irons so I picked up a one length hybrid over the weekend. Love that club!

If you ever do that in front of me we are done!

It's okay, Barry Sanders says he went to high school with me and get's the same reaction.

Oh yeah I totally forgot about that. That was pretty bad. They say you always have to win a game like that to get the title but that was robbery. Was it Scott Skiles that played for MSU that year?

I'll stick to calling him last place!

I graduated high school with Barry. Really good guy. Here's a fun fact for you guys. He wasn't our starting tailback until I think our second or third game of our senior year. He started because our starter got kicked off the team for fighting. Our coach was an idiot and the rest his history. After he won the Heisman they honored him back at our high school. He asked me if he should go back to college or go pro. He took my advice! I lost to him for prom king and it still pisses me off. He could slam dunk a basketball at 5'7". I went to U. of Kansas and got to watch him run all over us. He got the wins but we got the 88 basketball national championship with Danny and the Miracles. Boom! So, with the OSU/Sanders/Big 8/Big 12 and one length connection I am locking in my vote for Daviddvm to kick everyone's butts!

I know on SkyTrak when I use impact tape my iron distance is about 20 yards longer because there is no spin at all. The good thing is retail stores don’t use SkyTrak but it will make a difference. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

Well, it sounds like she’s about GB13s age so it makes sense she could detect the BS. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

I had the F8 one lengths before the launchers and the wedges are the best part for me. I struggled with the 7 and 9 today. The rest were pretty spot on. Launchers weren’t giving me birdie looks and these got me a couple today. Back at it tomorrow and will spend some time on SkyTrak tonight. I really need to get fitted but it’s no fun waiting. Been wanting to game some one length irons so I pulled the trigger on the F9 one lengths. Gamed them today without having ever hit them. Helped me get a couple birdies but overall a tough round. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

Get it! Or....the only game I can get my kids to play is Chippo. Check it out, it has seriously helped my chipping from all the games we play with it together.

I have been working on a better understanding of my driver and why I only average about 230, with roll, off the tee. I have spent the last couple of weeks hitting my XXIO and Bridgestone JGR driver on SkyTrak. What I learned is my spin is way too high. I tried a bunch of different ball positions, face angle at set up and where my feet are. Took what I learned to the course on Sunday and hit 10 of 14 fairways. 3 of the other 4 were barely off the fairway and 1 stuck behind a tree. Most encouraging was I averaged 259 off the tee with zero swing changes. I'm not sure if I just came across a day with perfect weather conditions for hitting the ball or what but will get a chance to see what happens tomorrow. My fixes I'm sure are just bandages for my swing but the end result is an open club face at address, closed stance and swing hard.

I don't really get the jitters but my go to is always the same when playing with strangers. I always tell them it is my first time out this year. It really covers all your bases. If you play great they think you are better than you are. If you play poorly they think, well, it's his first time out.

It's a really nice bag but I could see how carrying it for 18 would be a concern. I carried it about 50 yards the other day because I got a cart and it seemed a bit awkward and top heavy. If I wasn't paying attention I could see how the clubs would tilt the bag and fall out while carrying. Also with no legs you would pretty much need to lay it down for most if not all shots. If you carry a laser no magnetic pocket so you'd probably need a lanyard or something to store it outside the bag. As a cart bag or as a push cart bag I am loving it. The cooler is awesome to have and it is executed very well.

Played the 2020 Top Flite Gamer today. Averaged 259 off the tee today which is really long for me. Not sure if was me, the ball or the conditions but I was averaging 238 going in to today. The Gamer goes high and about the straightest ball I’ve ever played. It is excellent in cross winds and holds the line really well. I swear it almost straightens out while in flight to correct a slice or draw. Rolls out quite a bit but everyone’s did today so I don’t think it made a difference. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

Played 18 with ice in the cooler. No leaking, no sweating and ice remained in the cooler when I was done. It made a big difference in terms of keeping the beer colder than without ice. My go to beer set up moving forward will be 5 beers with as much ice as I can squeeze in instead of 6 beers and no ice. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
