  1. What about ball flight with the longer irons? How much difference is there between your old four iron ball flight and the new flight? I don't play much links golf in Georgia, so I worry about the bullet four and five iron shots when it needs to launch high like my 565s.
  2. Joshua Hometown: Sharpsburg Ga, Handicap-10 GPS watch- Garmin s2 Shot Tracker- Game Golf, the original. I need like 1000 more posts to meet the testing criteria but I figured I'd give it a shot. It would be nice to compare an all-in-one to what's currently being used now.
  3. So sustainability is important to you guys, good to know. Depending on what's cheaper to manufacture, egg carton type material could be a big game changer with how pliable the material is. Vacuum sealed plastic sleeves could work too for minimalist packing materials while still preserving the integrity of the ball.
  4. Welcome to the forums. Don't keep your opinion to yourself. ever.
  5. Joshua Sharpsburg, Georgia , United States of 'Merica Strengths of my wedge game: Pitching and chipping around the greens, half swings, 3/4 swings Weaknesses: Bunker play, full swing wedge shots 50/SS, 54/ES, 58/WS Yellow Dot with the AMT 2.0 Thank you in advance!
  6. My name is Joshua Gonet and I reside in Douglasville, Ga about 25 min west of Atlanta and I currently use the Bushnell V3 standard model! I would love to test one of these bad boys out to see how much better it is than previous years! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. If anything is outperforming your old driver, it's the shaft. I have posted a lot recently about getting fit and it was a game changer for me. I played an R11s for three years, nothing could take it out of the bag, it was an 8.5 degree head with the Adila RIP phenom x stiff flex shaft. I had a consistent 270 carry and it was as forgiving as anything else. I got fit for an M2 with the hzrdus black 6.5 shaft and ended up swapping the M2 head for an M1 head with the weight all the way to the back and I've got a 291 carry now. If I had kept the same shaft I was playing, I probably wouldn't see the gains that I have, but my ball flight is more penetrating and I'm more consistent now than I ever was. Is the technology in the head better, maybe not...is getting fit and finding the best shaft for you better? Absolutely. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. I see a lot of people commenting that a stiffer shaft gives them more control, but what about ball flight. I swing no faster than 110 with the driver and never over 92 with the irons and play a C-Taper 130g X in my irons and project x hzrdus black 6.5 in my woods and driver, I'm a high ball hitter, so in order to get my ball flight down, I was fit for those to get my ball flight to an appropriate shot window. I have a T-MB 3 iron that I just picked up that just has a DG s300 AMT shaft and the ball goes to the moon, it follows my natural shot shape, but it just flights too high. I'm in the process of trying to find a c-taper 130x in a 3 iron length so I can get the flight down....but I also don't play off of a 30 cap. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. So I've been playing the game for almost four years now and when I decided that golf was going to be my hobby, pops said to never buy brand new clubs, and don't get anything name brand until you can shoot under 90. I never bought anything brand new but I did buy a full Taylormade r7 set as my first set. Fast forward to September of this year and I was fitted at my club by my pro, with brand new everything. I saved 3k over the course of a year to be able to get fit on my birthday and I did. Full TM woods and Srixon irons and Cleveland wedges and a shiny new TM putter all fit to me. It's probably the most I'll ever spend at one time on my equipment but I do feel that it's vital to get what you're fit for. (Side note) I picked everything out, I wasn't "sold" on anything...Club pro is a srixon and TM staffer so I got cost plus 10% on everything, little over $1800 for a full bag. Now the clothes? I buy under armour in lot sales on eBay, and wear PGA tour pants off amazon. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  11. Really looking forward to checking these out! I play 40-44 rounds a year. I have a 10 handicap and I currently roll the Taylormade OS CB spider mallet in 38 inches! Pick me!
  12. Hello all, Currently a member on "that other forum", been following mygolfspy for a very long time on social media and figured I'd take the plunge and start contributing and or complaining to the forums. As far as my golf career, I picked the game up three years ago as therapy for PTSD from my time in service, and am playing off of a 9-10 handicap. I game the M1 in 8.5 degrees down to 8. Px hzrdus black in X M2 3 wood, same shaft, 10 grams heavier M1 5 wood, same shaft 1 inch shorter Srixon 565 4-6 iron Srixon 765 7-Pw Cleveland RTX 3.0 50, 54, and 60 bent to 58 TM OS CB Mallet Kirkland signature ball
