  2. Tim (48) From Illinois Sometimes I'm great, most of the time I suck. Just cant put it all together. One time its 74, next time out its 87? Hit 14 greens in reg and 3 putt half of them? Hit two greens in reg and make 15 pars? I just want to be more consistent.
  3. 1. Your first name and home state/province - Tim 2. Your current handicap - 8 3. Your current set of irons - JPX850 Forged Bring on the JPX900 forged. Cant wait to game em!
  4. Okay, So my buddy tied for 3rd at -1 in the Sr Open qualifier and won low amateur. Two were tied at -3 for the win and advanced. My guy had it to -3 through 13 with a clean card and boogied 14 & 15, then birdied 16, boogied 17 and pared 18. We will be back next year. Since then, I have turned him onto MyGolfSpy and he has replaced half the clubs in his bag. He is playing better than ever. Thanks again MyGolfSpy!
  5. Hey all, So my buddy ask me to caddie for him in this years US Senior Open qualifier at Aurora Country Club and of course I said yes! Has anyone made a lap around this track and if so, what can you tell me about it? I understand it has some small and very fast greens? Thanks in advance!

  7. My favorite cheap course to play is Crane Creek in central Illinois. http://www.golfcranecreek.com/. I'm 50 miles away and have a membership. The 2017 membership cost me a whopping $775, which includes cart. Greens fee with cart average $25.00. The course is absolutely stunning and is one of the best layouts you will ever play. Bent grass greens and fairways. Great greens and an absolute beast from the tips at 7390. The last couple years play has been down and the budget was cut, but its is still very playable. You wont find this good of a course, at these prices, anywhere. If you are in the area, its a must play!
  8. In west central Illinois driving to southern Illinois to play every weekend. If there inst snow, I'm playing! Really want to review this one. Currently rocking Bushnell V3 slope & Izzo Swami 4000
  9. I was one of the lucky few who received my 10 dozen balls before they sold out the last time. Tried it out for the first time yesterday and this ball is a winner! The ball preformed as reviewed from tee to green. Was really impressed on how soft this ball feels coming off the putter. Feels like butter! Been playing ProV1x for almost 8 years and I'm officially done buying them as long as I can get my hands on the Ksig for $15.00 a dozen. Already gave a couple dozen away for Christmas gifts to my boys. I'm guessing they will be on board as well.
  10. I'm on the map. Brilliant idea. Hope to hook up and play some golf.
  11. 1) Illinois (West central) 2) 8 3) 10th Anniversary Select Newport 1.5 33"
  12. Stopped in the closest Costco yesterday (70 miles away) just to see if there was a chance they had any. Nothing. To my surprise, the manager in the department didn't even know that they offered their own golf ball? I explained how highly rated the balls are and they could be the number one golf ball supplier in the world within a year and the manager didn't even seem to care? He said they had no plans of carrying them in the store. Guess I'll be ordering online.
  13. Ready to roll. Play approximately 150 rounds a year, current handicap is 8 with a Scotty studio select newport 1.5 (33 long).
  14. Hello all, I've been following for quite some time and decided to start spying. Been chasing the egg around central and western Illinois for close to thirty years as an amateur. I'm a self proclaimed golf fanatic playing 3-4 times a week who likes to tinker with clubs. Cant wait to jump in and start spying! Pinhi19
