  1. I signed up for fun. I did a lesson package with golftec a while back and hated it. This should be worth the 15 mins though Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  2. Here's the official Facebook group with pictures, videos, testers thoughts and updates. I've got one on order as I was one of the kick starter people. It looks phenomenal. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2978965878995688/?ref=share Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

  4. Honestly...I played awful today. I don't know how or why....but it was ugly!! An 88! A fricken 88! Granted I hadn't seen the course before and there were some tricky holes, but SHEESH! That's just unacceptable in my book. I had time to reflect on my hour drive home and I decided I'm going to just forget it happened and try again. Tee times booked for 9am on Wednesday and Thursday. Until then, I will practice my drills and FROZEN IT (Let it go).
  5. I think one thing to think about is stopping by the locations to check it out, all questions and get a feel for each facility. My first set was great. I actually kept the irons I had, but had the shafts changed and specs updated to what we figured out during the fitting. Same with my woods. Updates the shafts and had the swing weights adjusted and I was good to go. Loved that the guy didn't sell me on anything. Just said keep your current clubs, upgrade to these shafts/specs and you'll be good to go. . My current set I got fit into because I started taking lessons and my swing changed. This time I saw a big change from new irons and shafts and specs. Kept my wedges, but changed shafts and specs. Woods stayed the same. There wasn't much that could give me improvement enough to spend money on upgrading. I see myself with these for the foreseeable future. I'm not one to get distracted by new, shiny things... Thankfully! I believe it's the indian and not the arrow [emoji846] Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah I've figured out with how many swings you take in the fitting, your true seeing comes out... Middle of winter or not. The fitter I found from a friend. He's a respected guy out of the Carolinas. Does great work and makes sure your clubs are exactly as the specs say. And his cost is far less expensive than CC. I can give you his info if you decide to go that way. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  7. I'm in the Chicago area as well. I've been fit by Club Champion in Deerfield twice (4 yr span), but the guy that fit me has moved to Texas. But I had great experiences both times. I take advantage of their winter offer. Both times I did a full bag fitting, but split the irons and woods over two days as it's a lot of work. I also took my specs, sources my own components, and had another builder put together the clubs for me. Far cheaper for me doing it that way. True Spec is supposed to be a good location, although I've never been there... Just driven past. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  8. About to make a Jim Beam peach Bourbon and lemonade. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  9. This is my every day setup and my wife is wonderful about it all the time. I actually swing clubs in the kitchen as there is a lot of space right behind there. Lots of marks on the floor.... Oooops! Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  10. If anyone hasn't seen the videos of the testers and the new ewheels V2, you can see them here. Pretty cool stuff. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2978965878995688/?ref=share
  11. Clicgear had some in stock early this morning.
  12. Well my huge izzo net.... It's huge! Won't fit in my garage soooooooooooo I might have to sell and buy a smaller one because my HOA won't take kindly to me having it in my front yard.
  13. I will once I get it put together. I've been slacking... [emoji58] Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks man. I'm excited. I wanted to have it down already, but since it's going in an area where there's cement, I have to wait for the weather to get a bit warmer. There are temperature requirements to put it down according to the manufacturer. So hopefully in the next week or two I'll be able to finish up! It'll be nice to have my office together. It'll be a lot easier to work from home, plus I'll enjoy having clients visit as well. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  15. What about the shape? I've got the Scor wedges... Which essentially was the BH folks. And I love them. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  16. Really thinking about the Ben Hogan equalizer wedges... Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  17. Sometimes the manufacturer don't have the available shaft and unfortunately the specs don't always come as they are supposed to be. I like the fact that the builder I use Flo's the shafts as well. Here's a video on that. ( http://bettergolfshot.com/services/shaft-flo-plane-orientation/ ) Overall, if there's nothing special in your specs or a special shaft, there's nothing wrong having them come from the manufacturer. Just make sure to check the specs afterwards to make sure they're correct. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  18. Worked on a weight drill my instructor gave me last time I was in. It's meant to over exaggerate the feeling of shallowing out the club. I also threw in the smartball for good measure. Here's how it looks. https://youtu.be/EbBz3f3rJZE
  19. That's a 58* wedge, landing about 10 yards short and left of the pin... Should roll right up and have a few feet up hill for a putt.
  20. My guy Tim recently left the Deerfield CC location to go down to a Houston location, otherwise I would have recommended him. I've seen a few fittings done there and have never seen anything bad. Your usually going to get someone competent. I think the one thing that can limit a fitting at CC, TrueSpec or similar facility is the golfer not asking questions and being diligent about being involved in the process. Asking questions and wanting to know why is key in my opinion. Being open and honest about your game, seeing, likes, dislikes, and overall game experience is huge too. I never had my clubs built at the CC locations. I always too my specs, sources my own pieces and had a guy in South Carolina do the work. He's a great builder and FAR cheaper than a CC.
  21. I'm up by the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
