  1. Cobra One Length Iron Set 4i - GW: $400 shipped One length iron set 4 iron through gap wedge This is a mixed model set 4 iron - RadSpeed graphite shaft 5 and 6 iron - SpeedZone graphite shaft 7 iron - GW - King F9 steel shaft All shafts regular flex Shafts and grips are stock models from Cobra website Arccos Grips All clubs are 37.5” length This is a great set with updated models/technology and graphite shafts in the “longer” irons where the forgiveness and increased launch really come in to play. Only selling the set now as I got fit in to a stiffer shaft. Happy to answer any questions.
  2. This is a good way to look at it. Now that I think about it, my main concern came when my 52 was carrying close to a standard PW for me, almost. I thought my short irons were losing spin and encroaching/shortening my gaps into the longer irons. Looking through ARCCOS and other info, I think you may be right. My gaps are more consistent and each iron has gotten a tad longer. It could be that before the BX My shorter irons were spinning or ballooning slightly, and now I’m carrying properly. I really want to get on a Trackman just for gapping when COVID has subsided. Cheers! Be well. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. A friend and I split two dozen Bridgestones: one dozen tour bx and one dozen tourbxs, then we split them with each other. Made our own “demo dozen”. I’m excited to see how these balls have changed from 2018 to 2020. What I’m looking for, if anyone has recommendations: the tour bx 2018 is perfect for me off the tee and down to about 6 iron, from 7 down though it seems like there may be a lack of spin? The symptom I’m experiencing could best be described as the ball “sailing” and I hit my shorter irons and wedges too long surprising me. Any thoughts? I am also trying the ProV1X left dash which may end up perfect, but I’m concerned they won’t be in production much longer. Also, for Srixon being called a “subpar” ball, one just has to look at the MyGolfSpy ball test. The thing I’ve been looking for to make a ball decision is a balance of the average data for directional improvements in lowering spin off driver then increasing for 7i and wedge; but more importantly I’ve been looking at the std dev tab to measure consistency. The Srixon ZStar is the top performer in a lot of the important categories for lowest std deviations. Giving you a higher confidence interval for knowing your carry distances and offline yardages. Anyway, it’s a great ball. Std deviation is actually why I didn’t go into the Snell MTBX despite the potential to gain driver yardage with the averages hype. I did like the Snell MTB Black several years ago though. Sorry for the rant, bored during quarantine. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  6. Made a couple switches this year resulting in clubs available. For sale: 1) Evnroll ER7 mallet, 35”, oversized Evnroll factory grip. Standard loft and lie. Works as advertised, I just had to go back to a blade. $180 plus shipping. Retails for $359, so half price. 2) Cobra F8 one length 5-GW stiff shaft (true temper one flighted). Great condition, just need a better bath than I gave them. I’ll wash them before shipping. $400 obo plus shipping ($499 in worse condition on used sites right now). ARCCOS in grips still active. 3) Mizuno T5 wedges, 52 and 56, bounce listed in pictures. Just bought new wedges. This still have lots of groove and grip left, took the worst showing pictures I could. There is a nick in back of 56 degree. White Satin finish. Wedge flex True Temper, standard length and lie. $40 each, or $70 for both. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  11. The company I used to work for had a factory in Lexington, KY that I took customers to every year. After the factory tour we always made our way to the Buffalo Trace Distillery where they make some of the best bourbon known to man. I was able to secure a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 18 yr, which was enjoyed over Thanksgiving with my two brothers. They are my closest and best friends, and it was truly a special experience with a special bourbon. I mixed the Pappy name with my last name: Roylance. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. Ordered the the Snell MTB Black and Red Test Pack, with 6 balls each. Very excited, as this is my first time using Snell balls. Thank you MGS members for all the reviews that turned me on to Dean and what he produces! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Cobra F8 One Length Irons 5-GW. So far so good with one length at the (heated) range. Evnroll ER7 (based on MGS reviews of course). Want to compare this mallet to my Sentio blade. Found a deal on a Nike VR Pro Driver with Nunchuck shaft for $60! I don't care about the driver, just really wanted to try the shaft. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
