  1. Mike in Ohio here. My current set of wedges are both Vokey SM5's, rocking a black 54/10 and 58/08. Both are two degrees upright, +1/2" and shafted with some DGS300's. If chosen, I'd love to get a similar set up in some of the sweet looking chromed out Tour B XW-1's. Love the clean look and the way they use the badging to weight those bad boys! Thanks MGS for letting us normal guys get a shot at testing new gear!
  2. - Mike - Columbus, OH - Still use an older Callaway (Nikon) range finder that I've been threatening to replace for the past three years!
  3. Been a Mizuno iron guy since the T-Zoid Pros, but never really got into their other offerings. Maybe this will be the entry point? Mike - Columbus OH Titleist 915d2 9.5, Diamina D+ Whiteboard 72 S ~110 mph, 3.1 Index 9.5*/Mitsubishi Tensei White Stiff 72g
  4. Your first name and your home state/province - Mike, Columbus, OH Your current driver/shaft combination - Titleist 915 D2, Diamina D+ 72s Your driver swing speed/carry distance - Avg 112 MPH, Carry 280 Your current handicap - 3.1 Index Thanks MGS for the opportunity!

Your current driver - Titleist 915 D2 4. The PING G400 model you'd like to review - I'd love to test the G400 LST. I've been eyeing one, and the fact that it won the driver testing didn't decrease that appetite at all. Would love the opportunity to review. Thanks so much for these type of consumer first tests that only MGS offers!

  7. What an awesome opportunity this would be. I haven't checked out much of Cleveland's gear in the past several years, but anxious to check out their latest after MGS has raved about them every time they review something: 1. Mike - Columbus, OH 2. 2.6 3. Driver -Launcher HB 3-wood - Launcher HB 15* Hybrid - Launcher HB 19* Irons - Launcher CBX - 4-P Wedges - RTX-3 Black Satin - 51/56/60 Putter - TFI 2135 Satin - Elevado / Huntington Beach #3
  8. What an amazing opportunity for MGS fans! Name - Mike Eckel From - Columbus, OH Biggest bugabo - I'll lose my rythem/tempo and absolutely blow up for a couple of holes and wreck an otherwise good round. Nothing feels worse than carding 76 with three doubles! I'd love to hone in on what causes that and how to quickly correct a lose shot or two rather than having it snowball. Second choice would be holing more putts!

    May River GC, Bluffton, SC

Headed down to Hilton Head in a few weeks. Anyone ever play at May River? Is it worth the price? Reviews online look great, and the photos look pretty amazing, but curious as to whether anyone had first hand experience.

    Titleist ball testing again?

Guess I should have been more specific - by box I meant a sleeve. They come in an unmarked white box.

    Titleist ball testing again?

You get a box of balls with "Test" on the stripe that usually indicates the model and you are supposed to play them for a couple weeks. About two weeks later you get a survey link to complete and that's it. Pretty simple really, but fun to be a part of the R&D process in a small way.

    Titleist ball testing again?

Anyone get the email asking to participate in another round of ball testing for Titleist today? Just did this last fall and they are usually a two year cycle. Anyone know about a change in that format this go-round? I actually think this version of the ProV1 and ProV1x are a significant improvement over the prior generation. I'd be surprised to see them changing them already, but stranger things have happened I suppose...
