Greetings All, swung a club for the first time since March today. Took my 54° to the softball field and spent a hour. Felt pretty darned good. Doesn’t appear that I’ve lost much, won’t be able to play till January. Bur my family and I will be on the move again next summer. Hope all is well. Cheers

This morning was the best morning of my entire career. Quite possibly the best thing for my career and personal life happened today. Long time yet till it actually takes effect, but it will be amazing. Cannot wait. I’ll update over the next several months.

It’s morning, or almost somewhere. Just wanted to stop in and say howdy. I am retiring from golf for the foreseeable future. Having some pretty bad arthritis going on in my thumbs, makes gripping a club pretty painful, not to mention being deployed 6+ months a year. Makes no time for golf. Hope everyone finds the fairway for me. I’ll swing by from time to time, but if you don’t hear from me again I’m doing ok… took up hiking again. Cheers. Alan

P790 UDI… my new best friend. I did not know San Diego was so dang windy. Shot a smooth 73 in the Sea and Air course two days ago. +2 it really helps when you have a 2 iron that is laser straight and 3 wood long. see you guys later.

Yeah, yeah. I said I was signing off for a while… but, one last post. My 2nd youngest started pitching tonight, 2 Strike outs, 1 walk, and 1 run allowed. Super excited for the little dude, well he is big, but still little. I bet he is throwing it close to 60mph at age 11. First year pitching, and even really playing organized baseball due to the Vid, and the last move.

Ladies and Gentlemen… it is time for me to sign off for a few months. I have a bunch of stuff to take care of over the next few days. It was good to check in with you all, and see all of the new members. You are all in good hands with the Mods, and all of the tenured people on here. I won’t let it be as long as last time I promise, aside from my family I haven’t missed anything as much as this place my entire life. Well, this ball absolutely does not work with my game. I played it side by side the AVX and the PV1 this morning… it is clicky, and spins out of control with the driver. Really wanted to like it, but unfortunately it is not going to work. Best results were with the AVX… I keep trying to find something that is better, but I don’t believe it is possible.

They have arrived. Took one out in the back yard. They are a bit firmer off the wedge than I expected… but that might just be me missing the middle of my wedge. They will get a good test tomorrow. As long as the wind settles down a little, I am going to play from the middle tees and go for ever green I can off the tee. Driver used to be the dagger in my game, now it is Excalibur. It is so fun smashing the heck out of a ball, looking up and seeing a fade that even Rahm would like out there. Reminds me of an old Master P song, Make ‘em say…

Also… sorry, I am extremely picky. Would you mind measuring the sole width? These things might be my golden ticket if I can put the weight at the toe to stop that pesky over draw.
