What did you game prior?  I’m in a Callaway Rogue and the top line is too much.  Which do you play now?  I’m headed to galena tho weekend and go right past sub70s location.

@ChrisGE, just a quick note to toss in my 2 cents worth. Welcome to the forums. As you're discovering, a lot of information can flow your way. A lot of good stuff here.

Thanks for your replies guys, interesting to hear your opinions and I appreciate your thoughts, my friend who I play with did say my my thumb needs to be more to the left. I've been trying to use a stronger grip but it feels like my wrist is more restricted and arms feel stiffer/tense so decided to go back to this and I feel like I hit the ball better and further even though it's a weaker grip.

@NFFC83. If it feels better and you get results that you like, stay the coarse. Welcome to the forums.

Darntough cool running socks have always worked well for me.

Marino wool does well to avoid blisters and stink.  Plus you get lifetime warranty.

    Welcome to the forums @PNW1896.

I'm looking to get wedges used/new. I am a mid handicapper looking for suggestions and any insight what to get. Are used wedges worth it or should i buy new?

@leichliter_jake. Welcome to the forum. As you've discovered there are many opinions to solve your complex question. Glad to have you aboard. Good luck in this quest.

  5. There are many balls that I've used that I like (mostly found then play balls). Cost has always been a concern for me. Yes, I could afford a Pro V1, but...why when a Callaway ERC Soft or Maxfli seem to work just as well with my game. If I loose one I'm not mad.

This is my mini golden doodle, Honey. She is a whole 2 years old. She likes to hoard her toys or whatever else she can get a hold of. When I try to chip around in the backyard, she will gather any golf balls I hit and refuse to give them back. She's been a great dog when she behaves. lol

I’m brand new to golf and can’t decide whether or not to pick that set up or get a brand new callaway edge set from costco for similar price with no bag
    Help please haha

Regardless, welcome to the forums. This a great place to ask questions and onbtain some good advice. You'll find that not everyone agrees with each other and that in and of itself is great. You still need to decide. But you'll have lots of information. I'm of the mind set to try before you buy and for the first set not to go hog wild on costs. You may decide golf isn't for you so you don't want to go in debt. I do recommend getting a few lessons from local pro if possible to start your journey out correctly.
