  2. I have an Adams Boxer Hybrid. It's gotta be close to 15 years old. Take Dead Aim
  3. 40-39 on a new course today. No birds though. Good track with tough greens. I'll be back. Pleasant Valley in Medina, OH for those interested. Take Dead Aim
  4. Lalalalala I can't hear you lalalalalala [emoji1787][emoji1787] Take Dead Aim
  5. Like many picked up the Zstars on bogo. Love that ball, and got 2 dzn for less than 1 dzn Pro Vs. Hoping for some new apparel for father's day. Take Dead Aim
  6. Best round of the year so far 36-40-76. The back 9 is much tougher, and no room for errant shots. I just got away with them on the front 9. Need to get in shape for the Ohio spies meetup next weekend. Take Dead Aim
  7. I also wear glasses and use a Nikon finder. No issues or smudges. Take Dead Aim
  8. Sweet. Thanks@MattF looking forward to meeting everyone! Take Dead Aim
  9. I can play a 6000-6200 yard course and hit lots of different clubs, just leave the driver in the bag. I actually found playing shorter courses once in awhile is a nice change and makes me think about different ways to attack (manage) a course. Take Dead Aim
  10. Right, just cause people hit it long doesn't mean they're good. Take Dead Aim
  11. I shoot for the 6600-6800 range when it's actual golf. In the wet springs and cool autumns, I play shorter tees to make sure I stay comfortable and have fun. I hit a high ball with little rollout. When it's cold, wet, and windy is just no fun on the back tees. Take Dead Aim
  12. During the winter the east side has the Golf Dome. It's about 150 yards indoor range. The dumbest thing to me ever is they charge by the half hour and not by the bucket. Take Dead Aim
  13. I agree with Windmill, as I had a driver during done there and when the adapter came lose a few weeks later they replaced it on the spot. There's a range on 82 in Columbia Station that's nice, and it has a large practice green. Downside is they upcharge if you don't pay cash. Never going to Stonybrook again, not a place to practice. Out in Geauga county there's a good one on 422. They have a pub, mini golf, horseshoe pitch. That was my go to until I was 25. Take Dead Aim
  14. And does the normal golfer have the commitment/time to hit 500 balls a day and ingrain those fixes into a repeating swing? Another point is body build. Why copy the swing or fundamentals of someone physically different than you? If you're not built like Hogan why copy him? I'm 5-10, relatively stocky, + extra weight since my daughter was born. It wouldn't make sense for me to copy a swing of someone with a vastly different body type like Dustin Johnson or Tony Finau. Unfortunately there's not a ton of chonky bois on tour... Take Dead Aim
  15. Awesome!! Thank you for the info. Take Dead Aim
  16. I read and reread the following: Harvey Penick: Red, Blue, Green, and White Bob Rotella: Golf is Not a Game of Perfect How Champions Think Every Shot Must Have a Purpose Take Dead Aim
  17. Right!!! I'm really against teaching Hogan's swing for that reason. So many people already hit a fade/slice. Trying to swing like Hogan will only make it worse. Take Dead Aim
  18. I play it till I lose it. I always start with a new ball, but if I lose it I go to the bag and not into a sleeve for a second one. Take Dead Aim
  19. 44-37 today. Front 9 we were stuck behind some mooks and took 3 hours to play. The course we played has 36 holes, so we didn't have to follow them on the back, and played in 1:40. I woNdEr WhAt tHe DiFfeRenCe WaS... Take Dead Aim
  20. Sam Snead did this too, but with a draw. He set up like a pull hitter in baseball and kept everything left side. Though I don't believe there's a book on his swing, and nothing out there on Snead is as detailed as Hogan. Take Dead Aim
  21. I do not think par 3 courses will help the game. Nor will 9-hole only or executive courses. If you don't have regulation 18, you don't have anything. Take Dead Aim
  22. I am doing the same thing, hitting draws all day, every day. (It worked for Snead) But like everyone else here, yea I'm gonna hit a push or leave one out to the right. My conception of this plan is to stick to my guns and be able to hit the shot I am most comfortable with as often as possible. Yea, I'll miss once in awhile, or there's a hole I'll have to club down because it doesn't fit my preferred shape. But I think this plan builds confidence and I just need to miss smaller and lose shots less often. Take Dead Aim
  23. I was gaming an original Ram Zebra up until 2 years ago. Take Dead Aim
