2024 My Golf Spy Annual Forum Outing-Kingsmill Resort

Game respects game brotha! -
In my moka experiments, I've branched out and tried different grind levels; water temps, and gone so far as to making lattes. I've discovered that starting with warm water takes a lot of bitterness out of the brew; and dark roasts are much needed for a proper latte. On the pour over side of things, I like a medium-dark. Ethiopia single origins are some of my favorites, I'm enjoying a single origin from Bones Coffee right now. A new roaster that I found out of Black Mtn, NC (Dynamite Roasting) has a Mexico Chiapas that is phenomenal.

My usual cup is a pour over. Are you grinding your own beans for the weekend pours?

Picked up a four cup moka pot for Christmas, have been experimenting. What is your favorite brewing method?

Alright salooners, any of you guys coffee lovers?

I just (re)started the series tonight. I'll keep a look out for those. A buddy of mine had his rehearsal dinner at Kingsmill 5 or 6 years ago. I couldn't get over how gorgeous the resort was. I was 3 years or so into playing golf and I could only dream of playing there (and going to MGS HQ). -
It is still howling here. 3 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. Might need to put some spikes in my duck boots before I think about playing golf

Guh-rosssss. Kidding, congrats on a heck of a season fellas!

I've got to admit, Canadian bocce ball looks fun!

That is very interesting, the switch. He must be a glutton for punishment switching from the gunners to spurs. Alas, it is a small world, Charlotte is only 40-50 minutes from where I live! Your son has great taste in metric footy teams. Being a red, I'll take Chelsea over the scousers any day. ATM I'd give you guys the trophy for the disarray but we're not far away in that regard. The regular media and social media sure aren't helping our clubs unfortunate series of shenanigans. Pulisic is fun to watch, shame he didn't get more playing time in London. Seems he is enjoying life a bit more in Italy

That's awesome about your buddy. Was he an Spurs supporter before he signed with Arsenal's youth academy? I think half of the league is pulling for Villa at this point.

I knew I should have grabbed those two pennies I saw at the gym this morning! -
Can't wait to see what your results are. I hope I can get my hands on a fitting around here. I am interested to see if my on course findings are close to what the tech boffins have figured out.

This may be a dumb question, but it's for you @cnosil and for the rest of the testers: what is your go to method to determine if your start line is off or inconsistent?
