  1. New wedges…Jet Black SM9s, 48 degree F Grind, 52 degree F Grind, 56 degree M Grind. Stock loft and lie, with Steelfiber i95s.
  2. I would say you have to play a left-handed round and post your score but that doesn't work in this case now does it?
  3. My unboxing and first impression thoughts, and a lot of pics, are up! Take a look!
  4. I’m not sure if it’s UPS to blame or Edel’s supply chain, but packing wasn’t awesome… That second pic is exactly how it looked when I opened it up. All the sticks are fine…scratch and chatter free. So, on with the show… Again, more pics to come.
  5. Something was waiting for me at the door. Not a branded box but at this point I could care less… Obviously, many more pics coming…
  6. Update: we had to back out of the contract we had on a house in Ohio. Back to square one. The inspection found window and plumbing problems that we wanted fixed; the sellers basically gave us the middle finger and said no. Not too concerned yet, we have time to find a place, but flushing $1.3K in appraisal and inspection costs certainly sucks…
  7. Today’s supposed to be my deliver day, but it still doesn’t show as “Out for Delivery” on the UPS site. I’m dying a little inside with every refresh of the site that doesn’t change the status…
  8. My delivery date just changed to Monday the 22nd! @GolfSpy BOSstrikes again! What did I ever do to you Bryan?!?
  9. I appear to be waiting another day. My status never migrated over to “Out For Delivery”…I’m not sure why I ended up being the last to get them, but I know somehow it’s @GolfSpy BOS’s fault.
  10. Today is supposed to be delivery day; UPS site says by 7pm. I’m probably refreshing every 10 minutes…
  11. Been in DC for a few days. Last morning here before heading back to Carlisle…
  12. So I was on a car podcast. My brother-in-law is a certified car nut and started a podcast; last week we went to a car show and then recorded a podcast with me as his guest. Here's the link: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-6th-gear/id1679670305?i=1000613365167 It's called The 6th Gear. Sharing here in the event you're into cars, or know me and want to listen to my soothing soulful voice. Jokes aside, hope you like it, and please consider subscribing or following it and passing it on to anyone you think might enjoy it.
  13. I'm looking forward to following this gents. If any of you keep Strokes Gained data, I'd definitely be interested in some before and after on that front too, in addition to the standard swing speed gains you'll no doubt report. In my experience, there's definitely some potential to spray it a bit on course at first, but then some acclimation occurs and the newfound distance pays off.
  14. That’s a VERY good point. Certainly a first world set of problems to say the least. Just a bit of nerves and stress is all.
  15. Stressed. I graduate from the war college June 9th, and I don't have to report to Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio until August 1st. In the meantime, we're trying to buy a house in Dayton, and ended up having to put in an offer above list price to get in. However, the inspection report came back and it was extensive...several windows need to be repaired, there is a water pressure issue with the master shower, and a door needs to be replaced. We've specified those repairs need to be done, but if the seller balks we're going to have to walk away and start over on the housing search, with over $1K for the appraisal and inspection lost. Add to that stress the fact that the Air Force was late getting me my orders, so I'm going to have to move myself rather than have a moving contractor do it. I'll be fine, just venting a little bit. Lots of irons in the fire.
  16. Congrats testers! I’ll be following with high interest.
  17. After perpetually refreshing the web page, I’ve gone from “Label Created” to a delivery date of this Thursday by 7pm! I’ll be on a 3-day trip to the Pentagon and coming back that evening actually. I wonder how “General, can we wrap this up? I just got a notice my clubs have been delivered” will go over…
  18. The bottom line here is most of us don’t get to buy new sticks that often, so enjoy the process and get something you’re fitted to, performs well, works for you aesthetically, and that you’ll be happy with for years. If that means waiting for the new stuff so that you can feel confident about your purchase, then wait. Just don’t wait under the mistaken belief or concern that you’ll miss out on some sort of revolutionary new technology…the huge leaps and bounds in performance gains OEMs want you to believe happen don’t really happen.
  19. Congratulations on your selection testers. Looking forward to it!
