  2. Thanks for the help everyone! I'll put your advice to good use and hopefully not make a fool of myself. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Thanks everyone. All of this has definitely been a big help. I've definitely learned enough to not embarrass myself the first day. Hopefully... Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. First time ever looping. I've played a lot of golf, but grew up in a pretty small part of the world and never had the opportunity to caddie until now. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Hey everyone, I'm looking for help from anybody who can offer it. I got a job as a caddie this summer so I'm looking for advice and anything that can help me improve. If you've ever had a caddie before what are some of the things they did that you liked and what are some that you hated? If you've caddied before are there any tips of the trade you'd be willing to pass on? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.
  6. Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm playing a competitive round then it's a new or newish ball. If I'm just out practicing or messing around with friends it's a retired ball from the first bunch. I typically don't play new balls on courses I've never played before either. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Hey, everyone. I'm going to be spending a couple days in Flagstaff and I'm looking for a course to play while I'm there. Any recommendations? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. I very rarely hit three wood off the tee. I never felt confident with it. This club could change that though. I ended up with 16.5 loft. I'm really enjoying a four wood also. Very playable so far. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Okay y'all, here's my update on my tour edge. I finally got a chance to get it on a range and put in some work. So far I'm extremely impressed. Face feels hot and I love the feel, sound, and look. Club launches really well. I'd never heard of a Kuro Kage blue before this club, but I'm really liking the shaft. Stable but not boardy to my feel. All in all the club responds well when I put a good move in and not awful when I miss. It'll stay in the bag for now until it makes me mad! 10. For me it came down to a Cobra f7 or baffler or a couple tour edge models and the tour edge won out simply for price. I really don't have a chance to test clubs near me. Hate where I live for that reason. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Looks nice! How'd it end up playing? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. I'm sure he is! $139 new sounds like a steal. I read a lot of good about the E9 during my research and probably would have ended up with one if I didn't find this E8. What shaft is in it?
  13. Typically I've felt I'm a mid to low flight, but over the past few weeks I feel that's moved to a mid to high flight with some changes I've made to my swing and equipment. Right now I'm really liking it, but I haven't had a chance to put it through the paces yet and it's very early. Hopefully I'll be able to get on the range sometime in the next couple days and really test it. When I do I'll report back.
  14. I'd have to say Srixon/Cleveland or Tour Edge. I just picked up a E8 fairway tonight's as the first time out and I'm impressed so far. It was mentioned earlier, but if I had to play all one brand I could easily do that with Srixon/Cleveland. I also think Cobra is up there, just haven't played a lot of their stuff so I can't say for sure. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
