  1. It all depends on your gapping, or how far you hit each club. A pretty standard gapping in your longer clubs is 10-15 yards so find out how far you hit your 4 iron and then find a hybrid that fills your desired gap, which would be one you hit 10-15 yards further. Personally I always found if my highest iron was a 4 iron, a 4 hybrid would fill the gap perfectly but it will vary from golfer to golfer.

  2. Always followed along with MGS studies and read various articles but have finally got around to joining the forums.

I'm at an interesting point in my golf career, going from playing competitive throughout my life, to now being a college student and just being an amateur player. I still have the fiery passion for the game and plan on continuing the grind, despite not having tournaments to prepare for.

I'm currently a 2 handicap and my set consists of...

    Taylormade M2 (2015)

    Taylormade Aeroburner Tour 3 wood

    Ping G30 3 hybrid

Taylormade Tour Preffered UDI 3 iron

    Mizuno MP 64s 4-PW

    Titleist Vokey Sm5 52, 56

Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 (I think 2015) (the silver one)

Going to be looking to update my 3 wood and wedges, Possibly update my irons (I registered for the Ping I 200 testing), and I need to get rid of that UDI it's collecting dust.

Excited to be an active community member and continue improving!
