  1. Who cares what anyone else thinks. If iron covers make you feel better, then rock em. I personally don't use them. My irons are tools for digging in the dirt. I don't worry about scratches or nicks. I do keep head covers on my woods and hybrids mostly to protect the shafts from my irons, also my putter because that's a finely tuned instrument. 3. I can relate. It feels good to crush a shot at the range and have people start watching you swing, but that's all that it really is, a nuked shot that you probably have no idea how far it is going to go or even where. I believe Golf is a game of restraint. My handicap is dropping because I recently started focusing in distance control. Who cares how far you can hit your 7 iron. The number on the club doesn't matter. How hard you swing doesn't matter. Swing easy, club up if needed, and focus on distance and dispersion control. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. Just learning how to reply on this forum, so forgive me:
  5. Just as long as everyone is cool with it. I don't have a problem with it. Some people I play with don't like it. There are times to turn it up, down, or even off. Just be aware of other players, especially those not in your group. Golf should be a game of manners and respect. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. I was having a similar issue. I found that I was getting held up at the top and couldn't get the timing right at impact on a full swing. So I started doing a three-quarter swing with all of my clubs similar to John Rahm. It's helped my timing at impact. I would recommend it if you are having a timing issue. 7. I'm guessing it's probably green reading. I have that issue at times. The best thing for me is to go to different practice greens around the area I live in. There are probably six or seven local courses that all have different grass undulations. That seems to help me. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. I practice sometimes at an indoor range with GC2 monitors. It's a good place to practice, but I can tell you that the monitors are not an accurate representation of the actual ball flight. I'm sure they are close, but at an outdoor range the balls fly much differently. I'm sticking with real outdoor golf. That cannot be replaced in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
