  2. I played Stonewall Golf Club a couple weekends ago and was amazed how many unfixed ball marks there were on the greens...I figured for $119/round people would do a little better than that
  3. I came up to Richmond a month of two ago and was hoping to play Independence Golf Club; unfortunately they decided to close the course a couple days prior to they could completely re do all of the greens they lost as a result of the winter kill buddy of mine who is a super up in the NOVA area said the club let their super go, which is pretty unfortunate we ended up playing Glenwood, as they were the only public course we could find in the area with a tee time that fit our needs; old school muni thats touted as the oldest public course in Richmond...wasnt very long, but had a solid design to it; for the price it was a fun course but probably wouldnt go back

  5. I gotcha...I am from Manassas, my folks live out on Lake Manassas now...#6 on Stonewall Golf Course I grew up working at RTJ and playing Virginia Oaks (RIP) as our HS home course...played a lot at Generals Ridge, Evergreen and other ones around PW County growing up but never played much up that way
  6. the last 5 pair of shoes, including 2 pair of golf shoes, have been adidas...they really have stepped up their shoes of late and make some super comfortable shoes
  7. awesome, please do...im in the triad, so not terribly far from the Pinehurst area...ive never played any of the courses there however, but that will changes as a buddy and I just bought the Dormie Club special that was running if youre ever around GSO/WS let me know for sure...99% of my golf is played around here but for 2018 im hoping to expand my horizons what part of NOVA are you in?
  8. Good question...you can do a e membership for $34.95 a year according to this and you get all of the same benefits; if you play a lot of golf down this way a couple of those deals I mentioned might make it worth while https://www.carolinasgolf.org/join-eclub
  9. the winter rate (Nov-Mar) at Dormie Club per their website is $80, for 18 holes $55 bucks for a round, plus a free replay is an incredible deal CGA had a deal a couple weeks ago for either Mid Pines or Pine Needles, for $69 that included a round and a free same day replay also...i would have paid an extra $4 for the replay, but thats just me
  10. Carolina Golf Association has a great deal today, speaking of Dormie Club 18 holes and a same day free reply for $55 https://pricelooper.com/w/8810cdfdfaf11dcf?utm_campaign=cga-maDRME20171205&utm_source=cga-ma&utm_medium=email
  11. had some rough weather this morning for your drive, but the rest of the week is looking pretty decent...should be sunny and in the 70s for you during the latter part of the week, hit em well!
