  1. I honestly don't love it. I think Bill is a good coordinator historically iirc and will do much better in that role than he did at Houston, but I think there's scar tissue there. He's not the offensive schemer than sark is either.

Who knows though, the Saban school of coaching rehab fixes many.

On a side note, it was fairly BS of Sark to take assistants with him on his way out. I hate that just as I think that its BS that schools can higher away coaches or their staffs during the season, for next season. That's something that needs to change in CFB but won't anytime soon. They regulate the hell out of the players but have no issue with anyone else doing bad business. The NCAA blows!

I agree! Just like Cochran getting taken away as well. He was awesome.

  2. For people with  multiple hybrids, woods, etc and have the "luxury" headcovers. Generally I dont see numbers on them so what are you all doing to identify the clubs if doing anything at all. My bag soon will have driver, two fairway woods, and two hybrids. I want to get some nicer head covers but also dont want to get confused and have to pull the head cover off multiple clubs. Was thinking maybe getting something to sew onto the covers?

Carts are also good in the 105+ degree heat.  They keep a breeze when you drive and if you soak your sleeves and neck periodically that breeze helps. The cart also provides shade and keeps a true cooler with ice and the gallon of water I need and my Gatorade cold and my wet towels cold. I walk in the winter season here in Phoenix.   However some of the courses in the outlying suburbs have literally half a mile to 3/4 miles between the hole.  So if it is that type of course or higher than 100 degrees I ride. But prefer to walk when I can and when it’s not dangerous to do so.

This is how it is for me in Vegas. A lot of the courses that are walkable used to only do carts until this year and now more are welcoming it. A lot of the courses dont do any discount for walking either which is a bummer.

  4. Don't forget to check out/try the different shaft options. I've used the Alta stock shaft but prefer the Tensi

Well, golf galaxy is now discontinuing the fittings of the g410s. They didn’t even have the fitting carts/ racks with them. They did have their demo clubs for sale for $159.99 which is very tempting but I had better launch, spin, height, and distance with the sim max which is $249.99. Of course that’s how it goes.

I've got the 410's in 22* and *26 with Tensi shafts (no charge option) and love them. Nice fit between my F9 King 5 wood and SZ irons

The adjustability on the 410 is what interests me the most. I was looking at the 28* sim max so for the 410 it'll be the 26* lofted up to 27.5* or the 30* lofted down to 28.5*. Trying to make this game as easy possible.

  6. Thoughts going into '21..

Ditching any ego and not caring what others might think while making the game much easier with helping my misses as much as possible. My biggest problem is the lack of height on my shots. Currently play a Driver, 5, 7, 5h, 6-GW irons, 54, 58, 64 degree wedges. My money club is the 7w. I absolutely love it but theres a big gap between that and the 5h and 6i. The misses with the 6i are awful and I would like the gap to be a bit smaller with the 7w and 5h.

Changes I'm most likely going to make are ditching the 5h for an 11w. then ditching the 6i for a 6h. Also will be a real driver fitting somewhere reputable. The bag will look ridiculous but I think I'll enjoy the game that much more and on the off game days I think my game wont be as penalized. From there I plan to actually start lessons to correct a lot of the things I do wrong and 2022 will bring a lot of changes in the bag.

  7. How did I just stumble upon this thread?! I'll have to take a picture of my little coffee bar at home but it consists of an OXO auto brewer, an old Saeco Espresso machine (needs to be replaced), a french press, an aeropress go, and two pour overs with one being a chemex and and one a hario v60, and finally a Rokpresso manual espresso press. Also have a hario skerton pro manual grinder and a couple hario cold brewers.

  8. Definitely had a great recovery shot.

Dog leg left with trees lining the fairway so it’s hard to cut the corner unless you have a very high ball flight. I kind of fanned my driver out to the right off the toe but stayed in the fairway luckily. Decided If I hit a pure 7 wood it would get there and if not it’ll leave me short. Well I roped the shot and it bounced just short and hopped up and rolled to about 2-3’ and I knocked it in for birdie.

  9. I've been using a 7 wood for a about a year or so now and my long game between top and and middle of my bag has changed so much. I currently go Driver, 5 wood, 7 wood.

I have a ton of confidence using it on tight fairways, shorter par 4s, and even longer par 3s. Off the fairway its much easier to hit as well.

  10. Well over the past two months I've had some PTO to use up before it expired so I've been able to play more often and instead of 1-2 times a week its been 2-3 times.

Yesterday I got a late round in despite everyone in quarantine. Played what I would call my home course which I normally and have been trending nicely with my game as long as I could fix a couple mistakes on holes.

Finally shot broke below 85 again after club changes, etc. My 2nd best score ever. 1st round using a new ball too. Bridgestone Tour B RX-S

    Total- 82  Out- 41 In- 41

    6/14 FIR (42.9%)

    8/18 GIR (44%)

4 Birdies (most ever in a round)

    32 Putts (3 3-putts, 7 1-putts)

1 Sandy which ended up being a birdie

  11. I have a few boxes of multiple brands/ versions. I still have a couple dozen K Sig 3 piece, and a couple boxes of the K Sig 4 piece. Once I run out of those, I'll play the TP5X that I have a few dozen of. Then once those are gone through, I have a dozen ProV1s.

When I finally make it through all of those, Id like to play one single ball and I'm leaning towards the Bridgestone Tour B RXS. Lately I havent been losing a lot of balls though so even if I lose a ball each round I have enough to last me over a year, maybe two so by then who knows what I will want to play.
