Irons - I like forged blades, and flat lies, so bendable MacGregor PRO M model fits the bill - and still comply with USGA groove rules.
Wedges - use designs and shafts that deliver the types of shots I hit with each wedge. 46* - full and 1/2 punch shots/ 50* - full, 1/2 punch, and chips/ 56* - sand and pitches and lobs from rough/ 62* - pitches and lobs from good lies. (50*,56*,62* all same length - as does Jose Maria Olazabal)
Woods - keep up with technology to maintain distances and preferred trajectories. Driver 47" with counterbalanced grip and super stable shaft. Fairways - reliability and high trajectories.
Shafts - test a lot and use what works best in every club.
Putter - prefer heavier models - counterweighted after extensive testing.
