  1. Upon reflection, you could simply call it the Leaf. Oh and I bet the folks at the Dormie Workshop could make a pretty sweet cover for it.
  2. Thanks. The number of alignment options is pretty amazing really. There really is something for everyone. I wanted something somewhat simple for my eye, enough to encourage me to focus but not too busy.
  3. The more I think about it, the more I like the name Nemo. Instead of finding Nemo, I'm looking for Nemo to help me find the bottom of the cup. I do like the Blue Devil.
  4. Clearly mine will be named Nemo. It’s been ordained.
  5. Good morning Spies, Overcast day in CNY. Rain is in the offing. My wonky arthritic ankle can feel the effects of the last 2 days. I walked 9 Monday and Tuesday. Had running workouts Monday and Tuesday and mowed my lawn which according to my Apple Watch was a 2.6 mile walk. So maybe a weather break is a good thing. I have my putter configuration into L.A.B. Golf for the test and they confirmed they will get the build going. It’s an orange DF3, BGT Stability ONE shaft and a pistol grip. I am a lifelong SF Giants fan so orange it was. Ghost Golf has my forum logo bag in production so the next few weeks should be fun. Sorry read about everyone’s issues needing repairs @sirchunksalot @Northern Monkey and @Tom the Golf Nut @GolfSpy_APH is bringing the heat with tease. With all the testing opportunities that have been made available it seems like every week is leading up to Christmas. The growth of the forum is truly remarkable. Well done Jamie and all of the forum moderators. Could this be the next test opportunity? I blame Randy of Fried Eggs Golf for planting this seed. Wishing all a wonderful day!
  6. So incredibly sorry for your family. I can’t even imagine how difficult this must be. God bless your family
  7. My Fitting Experience To get fit for my putter I used the Remote Fitting option provided on L.A.B. Golf's website. We were instructed to shoot a short video of our putting stroke while wearing golf shoes. The video needs to be shot with the putter head in line with a vertical object such as a wall edge or door jam in the background. The video should be shot at about a 2 foot height and your whole body needs to be visible. You must also provide the length of the putter used in the video as measured from the center of the putter face to end of the putter grip. In my case my putter was 34". In the past you would then email your video to L.A.B. Golf and they would review the video and provide a fitting recommendation. In my case my fitter recommended a putter length of 34.5" with a lie angle of 68° which is 1° flatter than their standard lie. My Movie-1080p30.mov Following those recommendations, I had some follow up questions for my fitter. I currently use an Evnroll ER11v which has a head weight of 365 grams. I am comfortable with that head weight. My fitter indicated that their putters are on the lighter side and if I was comfortable with that weight then I should select the Heavier head weight option which for my build adds 15 grams of weight to the head. When it came to shaft selection, I did some research on the L.A.B. Golf website and it was clear to me that there was greater stability offered by a graphite shaft. So now to determine which graphite shaft seemed right for me. I asked my fitter about how L.A.B. Golf ranked the shafts in terms of feel. He listed the shafts in terms of feel (soft to firm) it goes Accra, Steel, BGT, TPT. I wanted something in the middle so I selected the BGT Stabilty ONE shaft. I went with the "double line" alignment mark. That seemed to suit my eye best and it is similar to the alignment mark on my Evnroll ER11v which I really like. My Build DF3 Custom Hand: RIGHT Putting style: STANDARD Head weight: HEAVIER Shaft: BGT Stability ONE Shaft length: 34.5″ Lie angle: 68 Putter color: DF3 - Orange Alignment mark: I Grip Selection: Press Pistol 2 Degree - Right Headcover selection: DF3 Headcover - Black The order for the putter has been submitted.
  8. Good morning Spies, It’s a beautiful sunny morning in CNY. Cuppa is going down nicely as I have a tee time this morning. Yesterday’s 9 led to my best day with the driver in years. Only 1 3-putt. The L.AB. Golf DF3 test is getting more real as the folks at L.AB. Golf asked for my putter build. I went with orange, heavier and a BGT Stability ONE shaft. The announcement of new testers today brought a smile to my face as I saw so many familiar faces from our Good Morning Thread. I feel like an Academy Award winner. So many to name for fear of leaving one out. My amazing wife had another appointment with the wound care doctor who very pleased with her progress. Wishing all a wonderful day!
  9. Congratulations testers. AutoFlex is an interesting shaft. I don’t recall if any of this group of testers dabbled in the “Otto Phlex” Journey that happened in the forum.
  10. Congrats Testers! While I’m not in the market for a new driver this definitely one to watch!
  11. My mockup for today. I am also leaning towards the heavier version as my ER11v is on the heavier side. But that will be part of the discussion with the fitter.
  12. I had anticipated tracking my putts via the Shot Scope H4. But for some reason my home course gives the H4 fits when it comes to locating greens. So I am also tracking them manually on my scorecard. Today's 9-hole round using my Evnroll ER11v was made up of the following putting stats: 6 2-putts, 2 1-putts and 1 3-putt.
  13. Good morning Spies, A chilly, sunny Monday morning in CNY. Morning golf is on the schedule. Cuppa going down quite nicely. I have a light “speed” session for my run workout but that will get pushed to the afternoon. In my case “speed” is relative. The SPCA Fundraiser my wife worked yesterday at a new local brewery was a great success. A great musical group, The Horn Dogs, provided the entertainment. They had a great horn section and most of the musicians were my age. I enjoyed a nice Irish Stout. Funk n Waffles was the food truck. They were featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives many years ago. @Rob Person the outdoor setup looks great. Looks like the makings of a proper “19th Hole”. Wishing all a wonderful day!
  14. Good morning Spies, Happy Sunday. Uppa with a cuppa. Watching the completion of the 3rd round of the LPGA Chevron Championship. Houston appears to have my weather. The announcers said there was a 35 degree drop in temperature. SWMBO is working an SPCA event at a local brewery. It appears that I must enjoy crafted brew for charity. The struggle is real. Wishing all a wonderful day!
  15. Not gonna lie, I enjoyed the hell out of driving a deuce and half. But I’m sure the folks on I-90 going up Snoqualmie Pass following the military convoy going from Ft. Lewis to the Yakima Firing Center weren’t too happy. I discovered once a deuce and half stops on an incline it sure doesn’t move too fast afterwards. LOL
  16. Good morning Spies, A cool morning with rain forecasted for CNY. My cuppa is going down nicely. I ran 5 miles yesterday for the first time in over 35 years. Oh, then I needed a nap. Not much on tap for today. I will grout the tiles I replaced around the tub. @EnderinAZ glad to hear that your procedure went well. Wishing all a wonderful day!
  17. I learned to drive with “Three on the Tree”.
  18. Overslept?!?!? You posted at 4:22AM! Good heavens man! The only reason I’m up at that hour is to use the bathroom!
  19. I couldn’t wait for this test to complete. I ordered a 7-way Anyday Maverick Black Ops bag with the Forum logo.
  20. Good morning Spies, Happy Friday! Today my coach assigned a 5 mile run. Hopefully the weather will remain cooperative. I have not run that distance in over 35 years. After finishing my second cuppa I’ll stretch and hit the road. Looking forward to it. Not much on tap otherwise. Wishing all a wonderful day!
