Good morning Spies,
It appears to be another Springish day in CNY. We hit the 50s yesterday and the snow is slowly disappearing which makes my morning cuppa all the better. I ordered my Black Ops driver yesterday! Between it and the warming weather, I’m getting excited for golf season to begin. Last year my home course opened in April but the year before it was in March.
SWMBO is volunteering at the SPCA today. We may be fostering another dog. Maisie is a dog who is stressing a bit so my wife will see if she is a foster candidate. So we’ll know later this morning if we will be “Driving Miss Maisie”.
Wishing all a wonderful day!

So now we have to make arrangements with specialists and surgeons. G*D has a plan for us all. Have a blessed day and happy birdie hunting!
Prayers for a full and speedy recovery My wife was a mammographer for many years. Early detection is so good for good outcomes.

Looking into some other potential options that could help be a barrier from them entering the yard.
Just a thought…

It’s sunny and about 55°F outside. Actually debating about whether to cut grass. I’m becoming superstitious about performing any spring-related chore that will bring back snow. I haven’t even changed out the snow tires yet.
Have a good one.
I’m with you! I have yet to remove the snow marking stakes! I only thought about removing them and we got 4 inches of the white stuff!

They numbed the spot and removed it to send off for a biopsy and I should know in a week or two what the results are.
For now, I have to keep it bandaged and put Vaseline on it.
Thank you all for the kind words and support.
Best wishes for a good result. Prayers for you and your good lady. Be well

Did I need a new putter? No. Did I even try it before buying it? Also no. Is it going to be my last putter purchase this year? (Probably) No. Ok, so which putter are you getting rid of now that you have this new one? It doesn't work that way...
Got the AI-One Cruiser Jailbird. For no reason at all, other than...I want one. Resisted the temptation to buy those special release versions after Rickie and Wyndham called so much attention to them, but caved on the AI-One. And it's niiice - only hit a few putts on the BirdieBall so far, but early signs point to it being in this year's rotation.

Congratulations Testers. If the first two intros, @Bobbers and @Northern Monkey are any indication we look to have a great group to test this interesting putter design.

You have quite the collection of sunglasses! Are you sure that isn't a Sunglass Hut? I need prescription eyewear. I am huge fan of Randolph Engineering. They have great products and a great warranty. The optometrist I used to go to sent my glasses to a lab that did a poor job of manufacturing the lenses and broke the frame. Randolph Engineering replaced my frames immediately. I'm a customer for life.

Good morning Spies,
A morning cuppa and watching the sun come up. Not too shabby a start to the day. This week is a light running week. Those are always welcome. I will be ordering my new driver today. But snow on the ground makes golf season seem to to be too far into the future.
Happiest of birthdays to @Josh Parker Hope you have a great day!
Sending prayers and positive thoughts to @sirchunksalot for a great outcome at the dermatologist!
Wishing all a wonderful day.

Good morning Spies,
It's a cold sunny day in CNY. Ran errands this morning. Not much on the agenda for today. My bracket still has the two finals teams. So, I got that going for me, which is nice. SWMBO is volunteering at the SPCA this morning. I will hit the indoor range this week. Oh, I will be calling my PXG fitter to order my driver tomorrow. Wasn't really in any hurry to order it. Snow does that to a fella. LOL
Not gonna lie, I am looking forward to Opening Day on Thursday. I have fond memories from high school. I went to a Catholic high school in San Francisco. Easter break would coincide with Opening Day. School would get out and a bunch of us would hop on Muni and head to the Stick. Buy tickets for the bleachers in left field. This was way before baseball tickets became ridiculously expensive.
Wishing all a wonderful day!

Good morning Spies,
Uppa with a cuppa on this snowy morning in CNY. We are in the 3-6” band for the white stuff. Not much on tap for today. SWMBO will going to a baby shower at our neighbor’s house. I will probably just hunker down with a beer and watch some basketball. I see that Kentucky and Auburn flushed the mouse. But first will have to fire up the snow blower. There will be leftover pizza for lunch which is always good.
Wishing all a wonderful day!

Good morning Spies,
Happy Friday! Now that I’m retired TGIF just doesn’t have the same juice it once held. Sunny and in the teens in CNY this morning. My wife and I ventured out to dinner last night at one of our favorite spots for some pizza. Then ice cream for dessert. Which given that it was 18 degrees out with the wind chill, it may have been a questionable choice.
I have a 4.5 mile run on tap for today. Will bundle up for it. The presence of the sun will make it more palatable. I will leave you all with a bit of humor.
Wishing all a wonderful day!

Good morning Spies,
Coffee on a sunny, windy and snow covered morning. The white stuff covered the ground but not much more than that really. We certainly haven’t gotten anything like @EasyPutter gets in Buffalo.
Sending prayers and positive thoughts to @Erin B for wonderful results for his good lady.Hope @BreakfastBall15 is healing up well and wishing you well for a good biopsy report.
Congrats Jamie! @GolfSpy_APH Great to see the recognition. The forum has really taken off and glad to see that it’s been recognized as an integral part of My Golf Spy.
It was great seeing such a cool test opportunity for Motocaddy. As a walker now in his 60s with arthritis this one definitely merits watching. My wife bought a new bike last year. Her stable currently has three. Bikes are her equipment addiction. Hmm, maybe a motorized cart could be my new “bike”.
Wishing all a wonderful day!

won’t know anything until tomorrow or Friday. But pretty nervous.
She’s a tough lady and we’re hoping for the best. Los poopies wouldn’t leave her side. I think they sense the stress. On a positive note we got to spend time with the kids. Hope you all have a blessed day and if your playing happy birdie hunting!
Praying for your good lady.

Good morning Spies,
Uppa with a cuppa. Watched the sun come up. We had a bit of snow yesterday so the home course opening won’t be any time soon. Not much on tap today. I have a 2 mile run to complete today. I was texting my son last night to “discuss” my dermatologist’s med recommendation. I am leaning towards staying with the topicals. They manage my psoriasis, the arthritis is barely noticeable and in no way impacts my quality of life. I’ll just monitor the situation since I don’t want to jump into a med the reduces one’s immune response at this point.
Sending some healing prayers to @Dead Solid Bogey Your ability to maintain your sense of humor through it all is inspiring. Be well.
Wishing all a wonderful day!

Weather here in Northern Va is a little on the chilly side, but won’t prevent me from getting a practice round in this morning before packing.
I know trips like this are supposed to be fun and all, but I’m nervous about playing well on some of these courses.
Welcome to the best spot on the forum! It’s the “digital water cooler”. (Ok, so I may be showing my age. )

Good morning Spies!
Enjoying my coffee as I watch the snow fall in CNY. I feel like I let @GolfSpy_APH down yesterday. It was a busy morning for and I didn’t post. Had I known we were looking at a record day. I had my Monday run workout. A warm up of .5 mile run, 3x1000 (.62) for time then a .5 mile run to cool down. I also had my dermatology appointment. My Dr. recommended a new med for psoriasis that can also help with my psoriatic arthritis. I need to do some research to fully understand the side effects. It’s a biologic that appears to be pricey so I have to see if it’s even covered by insurance.
The dermatologist is near Golf Galaxy so I had to pop in. They had a nice selection of putters. So I tried a few including some from L.A.B. Golf. It was the first time I’ve tried them in the wild. They felt nice. I has particularly taken by the Mezz 1 Max. They didn’t have a DF3 though which I would have liked to have tried. The DF 2.1 was not ungainly as I had expected. I did like the looks and feel of the new Evnroll putters with the new face insert. I also tried some Bettinardi putters. The new 2024 Inovai offering looks really good. They nailed the aesthetics. I think it felt good but the head was wrapped in plastic so judging it fully was limited. I did buy a new glove. I have always gotten along well with TaylorMade gloves.
It was great to see @bens197 was selected to test the Ping S159 wedges. Congrats!
We learned that our foster dog Dottie is fitting in really well in her fur-ever home. That makes us so happier to hear.
Wishing all a wonderful day!

Good morning Spies,
Up earlier than my normal. We have a Foster dog. A 4 year old Pittie named Maisie. She isn’t the bundle of energy that Dottie was, Be she is a sweetheart who loves to snuggle. She is joining me for my morning cuppa.
Appears Spring has arrived in CNY. It’s a nice 50 degrees outside. My coach assigned a short run today. It’s my easy week. Those are always welcome. I signed up for another 5k. It’s in June. I will be on the look out for more races.
Wishing all a wonderful day!
