  4. Feel and price for me! I've taken clubs out of my bag in the past, that have been performing better on launch monitors etc but just don't like the way the sit by the ball, look, and feel. I understand people can go about selection the opposite way and only go by numbers from dry ball data, however I want to feel super confident in hitting different shots in different situations. 5. People only every say what they want you to know... can't imagine many people will be too open about self-criticism? Kinda like the mystery spike marks the pro's find on the pristine greens we see on tv? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  6. Please excuse me if I'm misunderstood here... however, surely it makes little to no difference at all what brand the test ball is? Surely the important thing is to have a known value (the same comparative) with each test that is done? Therefore you have comparable data, so if all the ball tests have been done with the Bridgestone then it would make sense to continue with that, otherwise you'd have to choose another ball and retest everything against that. Is this just manufacturers marketing stirring things up? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  7. Yeah I've tried this and seems to be ok, checked the club head, crown and face and all seems fine, I'll see how it goes and if I also HAVE to buy a new one then so be it! Nothing wrong with having to get new toys! Current Specs; Irons: Project X 5.5 Shafts Driver: 9.5 deg, 75g Stiff (Looking to switch to 60g X) Right-Handed Hampshire, United Kingdom H/C - 15
  8. Hi, I bought the Taylormade Aeroburner Driver when it came out, and have always got on quite well with it, a few shaft changes along the way but it's always served me well. Recently I've noticed that the noise off of the club face has sounded quite flat, it's always made a nice ping like a driver does, but last few times it hasn't sounded quite right. I've used impact sprays and tapes to see if it's ball strike but it all seems to be fine. My carry and total distances haven't altered but haven't had an opportunity to check numbers on a launch monitor for spin etc. Just wanted to know if anyone has had this before and if it's a cause for concern? Thanks! Current Specs; Irons: Project X 5.5 Shafts Driver: 9.5 deg, 75g Stiff (Looking to switch to 60g X) Right-Handed Hampshire, United Kingdom H/C - 15

  12. Not bought anything recently, however I did pop into my local shop to try out the new M1 fairway all the numbers are in the right place, I just can't justify the price tag for the club and shaft specs I've been fitted for. I've bought a box of Vice Pro Golf Balls and looking forward to seeing how they play. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  13. Does anyone know if these will be available in the UK? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  14. There's a site in the U.K. called Tour X. Never used them before but heard good things, they might be able to help you out... www.tourxgolf.co.uk
