  4. Beegee, where you playing blades before the 18s?
  5. Anybody playing the MP-18s yet? Would love to hear a review and especially a comparison to a previous Mizuno blade someone had.
  6. Paul (49) Illinois Irons are the biggest issue, especially when the ball is sitting down. My initial thought when I don't have a near perfect lie is "how am I going to get the ball in the air?" I am hitting 62% of fairways this year, but only 44% of greens. Miss is always thin. Thanks for the consideration. This would be an unbelievable trip.

  10. Thanks 4567jhl and mckean_sam for the Manitou recommendation. But being on Lake Bellaire which looks to be about 10-15 mins from Traverse, I don't feel like spending close to an hour driving each way. I think I've found some nice courses that are literally right next door to me: The Chief and Shanty Creek. I know Cedar River at Shanty is ranked in Golf Digest's top state courses. The Chief, while on the short side, looks real interesting.
  11. Yes, changing the loft was what I ended up doing and it indeed solved all my problems. I couldn't believe making the slightest change (1 click) made such a big difference. I'm sold on adjustable drivers.
  12. Added myself. Can't believe I'm only the 2nd person from Illinois. Hard to get a game going.
  13. I had found that one and it looks nice, but it's private, right?
  14. I'm playing the MP-62s right now. I saw photos of the MP-18s and started drooling. I'll definitely try them and see if I gain anything.
  15. We're getting up there on the 15th and leaving the 22nd.
