  1. Yea i just found this thread too!! Finally people that have some coffee AND golf interest. Since i become WFH (work from home) a year ago, i figured i gotta make my own coffee and enjoy it. Ended up investing in a Mochamaster drip machine and a Baratza Encore burr grinder. Signed up for Trade coffee subscription to get some good recommendations and its worked out well. Went with the Mochamaster since its 1 or 2 machines that dispenses water at the proper temperature and certified by some National coffee association. Seemed fancy. Typically stopped tinkering and stick with a 15:1 ratio.
  2. After the season, we'll need you to do a WebEx tutorial teaching us how to do this! haha
  3. I’m in I’m in I’m in!!! starting off in 31st place and jumping to 16!!
  4. Lowry and Connors coming in big for me in round 3 shooting -9 for the round each!! jumped me to the 10 spot.... for now.
  5. Crossing my fingers for another Harris English win if i'm going to make the next round haha
  6. 2 questions: 1 - are the bonus points added to the end of the week? 2 - are the bonus a 1 time point adder or is it for each week? TY
  7. By no means am i complaining, just offering some suggestions for possible future ideas if interested. Trying to keep the participation high for all teams throughout the year. The fantasy golf was a heck of an endurance race and major props to the commish's for keeping it all going. It was fun (but not over yet!!)
  8. Is it possible to do a fantasy league where each person picks like 5 or 6 players EACH WEEK with a set amount of "money". Resets each week. So you'd have like $10,000 for the week, Rahm costs $5000, Lowry is like $2000, etc. You have to fill out a team with the $10,000. Then anyone and everyone can pick Jon Rahm or DJ etc. I believe this is how Yahoo or Draft Kings/ Fan-dual do leagues. Just suggestions for next year maybe. Things to think about and keep people engaged.
  9. I'm not making it personal as I do see you got the 0211's which is a much more financially responsible iron. But, given the MGS information on iron testing, I personally despise PXG in many ways. AND of course not telling ppl how to spend their money, but with iron data, I dont see how PXG irons are a suitable choice given the variety of other clubs that perform so much better. This is more directed towards the Gen4 or $400/iron PXG owners. I know we are off topic at this point... Prolly a separate thread on this....
  10. This is for the PXG owner who can't hit his 3 iron and believes the $400 hybrid will help
  11. My Bad bud, but you're not doing yourself any favors when you write 4 posts complaining on ONE page alone. Maybe preface your posts that you want to rant or vent that you got unlucky. Im with ya; got a bunch of very unlucky breaks. I had one week where all the teams i played were inside the top 20 and i had my best week and went like 1-9.
  12. @StrokerAcewould you be willing to concede the Golden Ticket if you happen to win it all? Do you have a suggestion as to how the point system needs to be changed? And is this suggestion in your favor and how could we show that you might actually be in a worse position based on that suggestion? We all know the point system going into the season; you need to know how to work your team and "strategy" around the 'rules'. Seems you are in a top 10 position so you've been doing something better than most of us....
  13. Agreed. And don't take this as me complaining but just looking into what these possibilities may do to our league. I think he's a great player (Zalatoris) but it would be like letting in an extra guy into our playoff competition (Fantasy) based on an opinion of our commissioners that someone had a great year.
  14. Is it me or does anyone else think, that if Zalatoris is allowed an exception, that completely changes these playoffs? And for anyone that turned down those trades, just got screwed Are we saying that if he's in, he's in (based on the PGA). Or we (MGS Fantasy) at all discussing leaving him out since it wasn't by the FedEx rules how we played within our league?
  15. i need my 4 guys to play strong and get me a few spots higher in the ranking. On the other hand, if i do really bad... i could possibly be fighting for a final playoff spot... eeeee
  16. I wonder if he was using the skytrak more for shot shape (ballooning as someone else mentioned)? Those DGS300 prolly get recommended for like 75% of people haha. Great shafts for a long time now. Can't necessarily go wrong in them i guess BUT you seem to be a better player and ,i would bet, want to get dialed in even better.
  17. Go figure, Harris English back in the hunt. Had him since day 1
  18. im just over here hoping to make the playoffs...
  19. exactly. The sole matters just as much. Those Ping G710's had a nice big sole which made them easy to hit (for those needing help) but also had aggressive lofts to get its going. Most importantly was the peak height and descent angles were optimal to help hold greens.
  20. I like the opinion but not everything is loft jacking. Sometimes we can think of it as "assisting the high handicap" to all them to hit the ball further with more aggressively lofted clubs. I reviewed the Ping G710's and they are an aggressive loft for a Super Game improvement player. As an 11 hdcp, i could easily hit them straight and far. I barely had to ever hit a 7iron into a long par 4, if that. Wasnt my cup of tea BUT for high hdcp players, it helps get the ball further down the fairway for them with more controlled clubs. In term of the T100s, those seem to be more of abridge between game improvement and players distance irons maybe? I wpould LOVE to test them out and see if they allow for better shot shaping capability as opposed to a Game improvement iron WHILE also allowing for a bit more distance capability. My $0.02
  21. i've got him already but he's actually quite good lately... 3 top 10's (4 top 25) in his last 6 tourneys... He's a sleeper going into the Fedex i think
  22. Wait so the Brian Harman drop is getting approved?? I've had some serious trade offers for him but didnt do them bc hes THAT good. Hasn't won but has 2 top1's since May 27. A few top 25's too. Nearly 1000 FedEx pts.
  23. I tried to make a few trades (i know, they werent exactly the greatest) but in the end, i kinda like my team. No BIG names but they have performed well. I have been able to sneak in there and get good finishes with them. As long as i can make the playoffs, i've got nearly everyone in the top 70! ...i think
  24. thinking about this... if Bushnell is going to claim "tour level accuracy" and this will be for indoors and outdoors... what will be the difference between it and the GCquad? And if a GCquad runs ya $15-20k, then what are they changing to bring the pricing down to $5-10k (guessing)???
