Got the Polar Pro Trippler. Great little stand that packs away easily in your bag. Great for quick on course filming of your golf swing.
Only extends to about 28-30inches but gets what I need to analyze.
Anyone else use something similar? Better?

Do you use this with your phone or some sort of camera?

I don't do much reading at all, but I did read the little red book at the end of last year and it was good. I need to pick up other golf related reads, I just can never tell myself to sit down and read.

I'm all for music as long as it isn't crazy loud and distracting to not only you, but others on the course. But, it also depends on what kind of golf I'm playing. If I'm doing something competitive and taking it a bit more serious, I think the music might be a no go. However, if I'm out just drinking some beers and having a good time playing golf, play whatever you like.

Check Dick's S.G. Maxfli U6, there is 3 types. It a urethane ball. Buddy just picked some up last week, 2dz for $35.
Did he say whether or not he liked them?

Currently playing ChromeSofts until I run out. I think I will end up giving those new MaxFli balls a go. I'm curious to see if they're worth it.

Really need to invest in a new 3W. I've only been able to test the F7 3-4, and it felt good. Need to test the M1 and M2.

It wasn't a left handed ball.

I believe most mallet putters fit a putting stroke that is straight back, straight through. Some do work with a slight arc.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That's gotta be one of the worst feelings in the world. Hopefully TaylorMade does you right!

I was out in my yard after the round fixing my mistakes. Or reinforcing my faults. One or the other.
And I do park them for 6 months! Not by choice though. 184+ inches of snow and freezing temps.

6 months just isn't enough! Here in Missouri we can play for sometimes 10 months if we're lucky and you don't mind a little cold.

Disaronno & Pepsi = the ultimate combo

I've used several over the years and have recently grown to like the Golf Pride Tour SNSR Contour. I have holed a lot more putts since equipping it.

I'd have to go with Big Papa by Biggie Smalls. But I'd have to rock the Walkman with old school headphones like in Hardball

A friend I recently reconnected with after 25 years found out yesterday he has cancer.... sometimes things just suck.
That's awful to hear, Ace. Thoughts are with you all, hopefully he can kick its ass.
I wish that one day that word wouldn't bring so much fear.

I've never used the orange whip so I can't say for sure. I did quite a bit of research because I was torn between this and the OW. The OW is very similar but it has a counterweight in the grip and that is proprietary to the OW so SKLZ doesn't have it. Other than that they are for the same purpose and pretty similar (from what I've been able to read based on people who have used/owned/tried both).
The big factor for me was price.
The OW starts at 99.00 (even on Ebay!) but the SKLZ was 52.49 on Amazon.
For that price the OW can have their little ball at the end of the grip!
That's what I was thinking! I've always looked them up and heard great things about them, but could never justify spending a hundo on one.

picked up a SKLZ Gold Flex trainer (48") and tried it for the first time yesterday before playing. WOW! That might be the best swing aid I've ever used. Really, really, really gets you to understand tempo and rhythm. Plan on swinging it at least 25x per day.
Is this the same thing as the orange whip?

Some of you have gamed quite a few sets, that's impressive. How many of those sets do you still have?
