I’ve been playing the MCC plus 4’s for awhile now....I love them. I would recommend checking out the “Align” version as well.

TBT got a reaction from cksurfdude in Unofficial Review – How MGS chooses their reviewers, a non-scientific study of 18 months of member reviews.
Can you imagine if you had to go through 5700 applicants the old way, where they basically had to weed their way through pages and pages in a thread to pick out the actual applicant posts and filter out the posts that were just banter??? That had to be crazy!
This way they are presented with a list or a spreadsheet of applicants and as you said I am sure they can filter that list several ways to reduce the overall numbers.

I found this interesting, only because it goes to show that what MGS set out to do is actually working. They have to be very selective when it comes to handing out items for review, with all tests there are risks of someone taking the item and “ghosting“ and never being heard from again. There are also those that have to be prodded along and reminded to make comments and complete their reviews. If you go back and look at most of the review threads you will see that some of the testers were much more engaged than others and constantly made updates and answered questions in the thread, I’m sure the moderators look at that and make note of those testers and I’m sure if you did some research you would find that the testers that are more engaged in their review are probably more likely to get selected much quicker to do another review.
I saw it mentioned by somebody above, but most people don’t realize how much work goes into a good equipment review, it’s much more than just taking a new piece of equipment and using it and giving your opinion. A good reviewer goes out of their way to get out and use the piece of equipment they were given and provide their thoughts on it, they are also available for questions and comments on a regular basis and they end up learning how to take better photos and videos because of it.
I can only imagine how difficult it is to go through the number of applicants that show interest in testing some items, for instants the Callaway driver Testing just ended sign-ups with 5701 people showing interest..... The moderators have to pick 4 people out of 5700.... that alone is a massive undertaking and I tip my hat to them for all the hard work they do.
i’ve been lucky enough to participate in a couple of testings here at MGS and I take them very seriously, it always aggravates me to see someone selected to review something and then not really follow through with it. I always think that they took an opportunity away from someone who would’ve done a much better job. So if I have one piece of advice to give a potential new tester it would be to take that responsibility seriously and remember that you were lucky enough to be selected out of the thousands that applied, if you keep that in mind and do a good job eventually you’ll get selected for another review.

Any updates on these units, did they get the bugs worked out on them?

TBT got a reaction from DawgDaddy in Precision Pro R1 Smart Rangefinder
That’s very interesting if you go to the main product page from the menu of the website it does not list the R1 at all, but as you mentioned if you scroll all the way to the bottom in the fine print under products, the R1 is there.
I really wish they would retool it to use a regular rangefinder battery instead of the rechargeable version that doesn’t seem to work very well.

TBT got a reaction from cksurfdude in How'd you play?
Work has been killing me over the past month but I finally got out and played on Sunday. Only the third round on my new PXG irons but I’m really hitting them well. Ended up shooting 48 on the front with a couple of wayward drives and then really turned it around with a 41 on the back for a nice 89.
good to see a score below 90 for a change. Hoping to be able to play a couple of rounds over the holiday weekend, weather here in Southeast Texas is absolutely perfect with temperatures in the mid 70s every day.

Had a dentist appointment this morning so I said the heck with it and took the day off to play this afternoon…perfect fall weather…..sunny 78* very little breeze
struggled out of the gate but brought it back on the back 9
53/42 = 95
really hit the driver well on the back 9

I LOVED the old e6 ball, wish they would have never changed it. I need to try the e12 since a few compare it to the e6.
the TM Tour Response is a decent ball too.
right now I’m playing my way through 4 dozen Kirkland balls that my wife bought me 🤦♂️

TBT got a reaction from Professor in 2021 Official Review: Motocaddy M5 and M7
Does the M7 with the remote have a “follow me” function? I played with a guy that had a Powa Caddy once in Arizona and he clipped a remote to his belt and it just followed him...when he got to the green he grabbed his putter and pushed a pause button on the console to keep it off the greens
