  1. Just heard of the new Cleveland CBX wedges. They are marketed as a forgiving, toe weighted cavity back wedge. I typically do okay with my blade wedges, but am curious to hear thoughts. I mean, why not get extra forgiveness, if their claims around versatility of shots is valid?
  2. I've been gaming a Miura K-grind for the past 1.5 months. It comes in 52*, 56*, and 60*. I play in northern CA where the ground can be hard during the summer. I took the 56* and bent it into 54* with 10* bounce. cuts through the green side rough like butter. very easy to hit out of side hill and tricky down hill lies. touch and feel is soft- excellent. but, it really digs into the fairway and tight lies, especially when hitting full shots. the specs are below. I like this club better than my mizuno T5 52* wedge. 52 56 60 Loft 52° 56° 60° Lie 63.5 63.5 63.5 Offset 0.050 0.070 0.170 Bounce Angle 7° 12° 13°
  3. 1. Jarrett, CA 2. Taylormade Est 79 TM-880, 33 inch, right hand 3. custom fit- yes 4. Preferred putter - Queen B 9 love the look and feel of this type of putter. Have tried the odyssey versa 9, white hot pro 2.0, and Scotty select newport 3. still love and game my TM 880. would love the opportunity to test the Queen B9.
  4. thanks guys, I'll look into those companies. couldn't tell if Bos regrooves wedges.
  5. Anyone have suggestions for reputable companies that refinish wedges? I remember coming across a thread, but can't locate it. looking to refinish an old Vokey 54* wedge. I'm really picky and attention to detail is very important.
  6. I have the FJ FeeStyle with BOA. They allow for easy on/off of the shoe. It's also easy to tighten mid round with a few clicks without needing to re-tie your shoes. I also like the look of the top of the shoe without laces.
  7. I've hit the JPX 900, stock stiff shaft in 8.5* at a demo day. no launch monitor. the ball jumped off the face. great sound and feel. love the feel of the compact head and adjustable options.
  8. Love my Mizuno irons, but there's always room for improvement! 1. Jarrett/California 2. 12 handicap 3. Mizuno MP25 with KBS Tour 90 S 4. JPX 900 Tour
