  1. Was playing DG s300's and Project X 6.0's. Nippons are smooth like butter, effortless. They just feel right for me compared to any others. Almost feels like I'm playing a graphite shaft but with all the feel benefit of steel. Love them and can't see playing anything else.
  2. Just got this email from Costco... Our records show that you recently purchased the Kirkland Signature 4-piece Golf Balls (Item #1250052). Feedback we received since the item went on sale shows that some of the balls do not meet the high standards that are expected for the Kirkland Signature brand. Therefore, Costco is refunding your credit card for your purchase and the shipping costs (two separate credits). There is no need to return the item. As with any Kirkland Signature item, if ever you are not completely satisfied with the product, your money will be refunded. Please accept our apologies, and thank you for your continued support. 3. Played them Saturday and Sunday with no issues, no cuts. A couple scuffs but nothing different than any other ball. Maybe it's not quite as long off the driver but I thought the ball felt very good overall, especially with the scoring clubs. Feels similar in many ways to a ProV1 but I also very similar to MTB Red. Maybe the compression is somewhere in the middle of the two. I thought it stopped faster than my ProV1's. I was surprised by the stopping power given the wet conditions. For $15/dozen I think I'd be crazy to play anything else.
  4. Ordered and will report back. Fingers crossed they're similar to the originals...
  5. The old NV was such a performer for me. I saw the press release but haven't seen any for sale locally or noticed any online reviews . Wondering if anyone on here has hit the new NV and if so can you share feedback? Specifically how it compares to the older model and what your ball flight was with it? Thanks!
  6. Happy to connect with other like minded golfers in the PNW. Love MGS and look forward to contributing. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? - Handicap is currently 10.3, years ago I've been as low as a 6 and as recently as last year I was hovering around 18. This year I'm hoping to get back down to around a 6. I'm a happy camper anywhere in the 80's. Broke 80 twice last summer. What do you love about golf? - I love the escape, the walk, the scenery and camaraderie. Back in the day I suppose I loved the challenge but today I'm more into the mental break. My 7 year old son is starting to get into the game. I'm really looking forward to some quality father/son time. I hope he sticks with it. I'll try my best not to push him, lol. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? - Not sure if I know any other Spies. I frequent the site for product reviews, trends, etc. Where are you from? What is your home course? - I currently live in Vancouver, WA. Royal Oaks is my home course. I play a lot at Camas Meadows and Heron Lakes though too. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? - We have some great, traditional courses in the area. Also some great "guys trip" options, Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Gamble Sands, Chambers Bay all aren't too far away. I have a love/hate relationship with the trees in the PNW. I appreciate their beauty but sometimes despise their placement, lol. Despite the winter rain most courses are pretty playable year round. What do you do for a living? - I own an executive recruitment firm. How’d you pick your user name? - Ha, it was probably my 8th choice. How'd I pick it? It was available...
