  1. Saw on instagram a while back they have a new owner who is updating their designs. Lotta putter companies seem to be for sale or experiencing serious financial difficulties lately. Piggybacking on the thread about how much will you pay for a putter, obviously not as much as some of these companies are charging!
  2. My first set was Northwestern. I've never putted as well as I did with the putter that came with that set!
  3. Facts! But better than 96° with the sun pounding down on you. Face it - if you live in this part of the country it's a two shower minimum during the summer!
  4. I think you are absolutely right! No one is doing a bigger about face than the most outspoken mouthpiece for the PGA.
  5. This was the topic of discussion on last night's @McGolf livestream. Jim, has done a 180 on the value of aftermarket stability shafts, with the caveat they are going help fine tune your game to get those last few 3 putts out of your round, but maybe not warranted for someone shooting triple digits or casual golfer.
  6. I'm always amazed by the answers to this question! People are willing to pay $400-$800 for a new driver, a club they use 13-14 times per round, but don't want to pay over $300 for a club they use 30-40 times a round. Marketing has conditioned us to believe distance is worth the price, lower scores not so much! YMMV
  7. Way to go gang! Another new to me brand I'm looking forward to learning more about!
  8. Would love to have a lit par 3 course for night play, especially during the sweltering Georgia summers!
  9. My body hurts It's too cold It's too hot It's raining For 2 days after the rain stops- The ground is too wet I can't practice I worked out today and I'm too stiff I have yard work I can't leave the house because I'm in 30-tweet argument with some idiot on why Cobra Golf is superior to PXG
  10. Happy Birthday to my Aunt, who turned 80 and recorded her 9th hole-in-one yesterday! From her nephew who has yet to sniff his first HIO.
  11. Nice won't break the bank cab last night paired perfectly with our kona coffee crusted filet mignons! I don't consider myself a wine snob, okay maybe a little, but I do have a rule to never drink cabs <$30. At $28 this wine was really well done and tasted twice the price.
  12. Dinner last night was kona coffee crusted filets and a side of roasted Brussel sprouts with bacon and a fig drizzle! #yum
  13. I tried it a few times with not much success. I'm sure it's a technique issue, but I just can't seem to get the punch deep enough into the club. I sort of get a portion of the punch shape, but rarely the entire outline. Anthony Taranto's job marked safe today!
  14. When I started playing golf 35 years ago it was a 7-iron and today it's still a 7-iron. #technology
  15. BV Tapestry is one of those big fruit forward wines, at a still reasonable price, that makes any steak sing!
  16. Dinner last night was seared filet mignon then topped with crab meat and finished in the oven with Brussel sprouts & tomatoes with mozzarella baked to gooey goodness!
  17. A lovely 11 year old Pinot Noir to go with dinner last night.
  18. Dinner last night was grilled pork tenderloin marinated in a Bullet Bourbon sauce and a raw broccoli salad with cranberries, bacon and fried shallots. They both were delish, but both Mrs H and I both had 3 huge helpings of the salad it was so good!!
  19. I just heard an interview with Matt Fitzpatrick who is a staunch supporter of PGA, and very vocal about LIV, say it's clear looking at "ALL" the tours, the list does not accurately reflect the best players in the world right now!
  20. Range finder on the course, though one of the courses I play just went to GPS on their carts. Rapsodo on the practice range. Tried ARCCOS, but it just wasn't for me.
  21. Congrats to the testers! Looking forward to your reviews on this "new to me" brand!
  22. Updated with additions and deletions. Check to see that your name is on the list and spelling is correct. If you no longer want to be on this list please provide me with your Instagram handle, as I don't have them associated with your real names or MGS screen names. IMHO, For future reference when crafting an IG handle always go shorter and avoid underscores, periods and the like if you can. CNOSIL and PARKB1 are more likely to be tagged more often than FirstName__LastName__34569 because they are easier to remember and faster to type when doing multiple entries and/or you don't have your list handy. Again, this is JMHO.
