  1. I have looked over MyTaylorMade+ to come up with better practices based upon my on course performance. I have been practicing like BMart519 has suggested. It seems like I can be smarter with my practice and I am hopeful that MyTaylorMade+ will give me the guidance for my game.
  2. That is really nice with a great breakdown of your game. I think SureShot and Garmin also provide rough indicators of drive, approach, short and putting. Taking it to the next level would be to feed strokes gain information into a tool that gives you a practice plan.
  3. I do not believe that I am improving with golf as I should. It seems like I should be able to provide two pieces of info to an app and it should come up with a practice plan for me. I am more interested in a training plan than swing analysis. Here is an example of the two pieces of info data. 1. Details on my last round ( # putts. 3 putts, OB, lag putts to >5 foot, GIR, missed <100yd approach shots, a chip followed by another chip, missed fairways from the tee, shanks, tops, duffs) 2. The number of hours that I have to practice before my next round. Optionally, I could supply my handicap. The app could determine where the best opportunity for strokes gained would be. It could then spit out a practice plan. This should be relatively simple with the right input details from the round and minimal knowledge of practice plans. Does such a thing exist without swing by swing data collection, monthly fees or online coaching?
  4. I was looking at the 2021 Best data for putters, drivers (mid swing speed) and game improvement irons. The strokes gained spread across the clubs in a category is approximately... Putter 2.2 strokes Driver 0.769 strokes GI Irons 0.1276 strokes I did not see specific strokes gained numbers for wedges. Doesn't this mean that far and away a putter fitting can make the biggest difference in your game? Yet I see and hear of people fitting their driver and irons. Driver fitting is important but if you only do one fitting then choose a putter fitting.
  5. I heard Lou say on a podcast that he shoots his laser measuring device to the stick. It makes a good vertical target.
  6. I had to factory reset my phone and I no longer see the Zepp android app at the play store. That is disappointing. I have had to find it on non-authorized sites. Are they still in the golf business?
  7. As near as I can tell the truegolffit site ends up optimizing the users launch angle and spin using various clubs. It would be great if there was a way to forward on swing data from a user and the truegolffit selected clubs to refine the predictions. There may be other secondary swing characteristics that account for any individual discrepancy between predicted and actual. Thanks, I really like the concept.
  8. As a novice golfer I am looking for a swing analyzer. The Zepp 2 and SwingByte both seem like good options that are still supported. Zepp has two advantages - ease in switching clubs and ease in a quick interpretation. I have this belief that SwingByte will be more accurate for speeds and club face due to its' placement on the club. I will be using an android phone but I don't believe that I will try to download instructional video at the driving range or course. What compelling reason is there to choose one over the other? Are there any sensors that go on the end of a club that are actively supported and full featured like Zepp and SwingByte?
