  3. This. I don't want a super power to improve my game. What I love about the game is the struggle. But to play anywhere I want for free, that would be awesome! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. I agree. Srixon did/does not have nearly the market share Taylormade does. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. I'm not talking "value brand". It seems there are only a few categories for driver prices: $499, $399 and $299. Go $449, $349 and $299. Set yourself apart. I think Taylormade (regardless of how people feel about them) has more than established themselves as quality woods and had the reputation to back it up. It would be interesting to see the results. 6. Exactly. Like pushing a kid on a swing. Let gravity start the downswing then accelerate faster as things fall. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. To compete with Callaway, instead of making outrageous performance claims, how about a more competitive price? It would be nice if these guys would start undercutting each other. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. That looks incredible. I don't know why, but that just looks like it would slip through any lie. Beautiful. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. I don't care for the M4 on the crown. That would catch my eye too often at address. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. I agree with KennyB. My jaw dropped when I saw those prices. I live a few blocks from a club that I'm considering but the monthly dues are $500. And the stock is a slightly used Camry. My wife keeps shaking her head at me when we drive by. I'm wearing her down though I say go for it! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Bethpage Black and 30+ mph winds? That's a dip in a shark tank wearing liver shorts. Let us know how it goes!! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. Your ball flight is a result of your club face in relation to swing path at impact. If you are swinging right, your instinct is to "save" it by closing the face by flipping the face shut. The face is closed to the path resulting in a right to left flight. The more right you swing the further left it will turn (assuming you keep shutting the face). It's a fun thing to play around with. Congrats on the breakthrough. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. I have to hit a few before a round. I think it's mental but I have been working on some major swing changes over the last year and it's almost like I don't trust it 100% yet even though I have been striking the ball better than ever. So I just need a few swings to get to a comfort level that gives me a bit of confidence. I also putt a bit to get the pace down. Pitching and chipping is also a must. I think a total of 1/2 hour pre round warmup is a decent amount for me. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. I am out of excuses for this off season. I want to start weight training/stretching again. It's been 10 years since I transferred my obsession with working out to golf. Now, I have a complete gym (thanks to my father in law) in my garage as well as a hitting bay. So my goal is to get in better shape, regain some flexibility and hit the ground running in the spring. 15. Strategy, yes! I have such an appreciation for people that know a course, make smart decisions and execute a plan. Fun to watch. But again, this is probably lost (understandably) on the 14 year old kid just picking up the game. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
