  1. I have been singing the praises of the Mitsubishi OTi graphite shaft since I was fitted in them 2 years ago. Unbelievable tight groupings, my approach shots are very tight. My stiff shafts are 95 grams, but are as stiff as S300s. I'm never going back to steel.
  2. I'm gonna go with $270. I've seen a bunch of great new Ping putters for that price, and I think a good supply of Odyssey's as well. That being said, I just bought a new Sub 70 Sycamore 001 anser style putter for $180. It's nicer than my Toulon (bought used).
  3. Is this a serious question? Do you even read the articles in MGS?
  4. I can't recommend True Linkswear enough. I've had 5-6 pair, I only walk, and I will only ever buy these shoes for golf. Your foot pain is most likely due to the shoes being too narrow. Look at how the toebox is shaped like a triangle. Most FJ, Nike, Puma, etc. shoes are built like that for fashion. It's ridiculous. I've had my current True OG shoes for two years. They are still waterproof and the tread is holding up nicely. Slightly more wear in the left foot (RH golfer), probably due to wearing them on a practice matt twice a week. I have another pair that I bought on sale in April from Global Golf waiting for my OG's to be retired. I'm certain they will last the rest of the year. I also have a knit pair that I wear to work.
  5. Me and my golf pal hit a rotation of about 4 courses in our immediate area (30 minute drive). One is a muni, the others are privately owned, opened to the public. The courses are in great shape and can typically get around in 4 hours, sometimes longer on a holiday weekend. Played in 3:40 hours (walking) on Wednesday afternoon. SE Connecticut/SW Rhode Island.
  6. I buy mine from lost golf balls . com. I get the 5-star mint condition balls. They look brand new or maybe lost after a couple hits. It's usually 45%-50% the cost of brand new for basically a new ball played after 2-holes. So my 5-star mint Srixon Z-Star's are about $24/dozen when I buy 4-dozen. I've only been slightly dissaponted when I've bought the 4-star balls. The condition is quite a bit lower and sometimes they throw in Z-Star XV's or even Q-Star Tours.
  7. Get fit for what fits. Don't go in with any preconceived ideas based on the newest trend. Don't be afraid of a 7-wood if your 5-iron numbers aren't good.
