  1. Looking to trade driver shaft with titleist adapter for a graphite design AD XC or BB 6S (preferably with Titleist adapter). Small chance, I know, but figured better to ask.
  2. I am not interested in a trade, but I have a 10* TSi3 head that I'd be willing to sell you.
  3. Any trade interest? I have a couple shaft/putter options if you have any interest.
  4. I gave armlock a try, and found that it just wasn't for me. Loved it on short putts, but struggled from distance. Selling my SS28 Armlock with Superstroke 17' grip. Both the head and grip are in excellent condition. Original headcover included. $225 shipped.
  5. I'll either play Srixon Z-stars or Bridgestone Tour B Xs...whichever is on sale when I need new balls. There was one time where neither was on sale, and I went with Snell MTB-Black that time.
  6. I'm sure they would be good balls, but there is no way I would pay $50/dzn to play them. Dicks/Gold Galaxy still have Srixon Z-Stars and XVs at 3 dzn for $80. $2.22 vs. $4.17 per ball...and there is no way the Wilsons are going to perform any better.
  7. The one thing I wish they would have added to the bracket is to let us know how many shots it took from each driver to get the 10 shots that counted. For instance, if the Mavrik needed 16 shots to get the 10 that counted and the SZE only needed 12, that makes a big difference out on the course. Even if they didn't factor this into the winner, though, I think it would have been interesting to know.
  8. Do you open the face in your backswing? If so, you may need more toe hang to help it get back square at impact.
  9. I completely agree with the others above about how working on your swing can make the biggest impact. In the meantime, though, you could bend your 52* wedge to 50*. That will help with the yardage gap and bring the bounce down to 10*.
  10. My course is still open (near Atlanta, GA), but everything inside the clubhouse has shut down. You can still order take out food, but locker room, bag storage, etc. is understandably closed. Like most, the course is walking only or 1 person per cart. As of a few days ago, that even includes people that live in the same house as you. I was going to go play nine holes with my sons the other day, and we were told that we couldn't ride in a cart together. While that didn't make a lot of since to me, I am very thankful that our course is staying open. My boys are too young to walk nine holes, but we have a short course that we were still able to play on.
  11. I definitely am. Got to roll the ER1TS in a store today, and it completely made sense. Both as a training aid starting the ball in front of the shaft and as a putter starting the ball right in front of the head. The later felt like the most stable putter I have ever hit. Will definitely try the cast version and then pick one out of the two.
  12. I think this would keep too many players from learning to hit shots. You could just have specialty clubs that only do one thing...ie driving iron and hybrid that go the exact same distance but at different heights. Would take a lot of skill out of the game.
  13. My wife had a conference down in Sea Island this past week, and I got to tag along 😀.
  14. Love my 3 wood! I use it more off the tee than off the deck (since I score better playing short iron + wedge if I'm 250 out rather than trying to put 3 wood on). Any par 5 that I cannot reach in 2, par 4s in the 375-400 range, plus any tight par 4.
  15. Like others have said, both are great balls. But at $20/dozen, the Srixon blow away any ball for value/performance.
  16. I'm looking at either an Evnroll ER8 or Odyssey EXO Rossie S. I love how companies are now offering mallets with toe hang. They are perfect for those of us with arcing strokes that still like the stability of a mallet for shorter putts. I just wish the EXO putters had been out early enough to be included in the Most Wanted Testing.
  17. I definitely play better when I walk (which is as often as possible). Something about just having the time to let the last shot go, talk with whomever I'm playing with, and then refocus is a great rhythm. If only they made everyone walk in our club tournaments...
