The only thing I found surprising about this test, is that a brush tee wasn't included. I've been using the extra tall yellow brush tees for years now, and while I don't know whether the performance is better or worse than any other tee, those brush tees always set up at the same height, are unbreakable and extremely hard to lose. How do you lose your volunteer job at a golf course....

The Cobra King extreme is definitely a driver I've been looking at, as an older golfer with a mid handicap, I don't see a lot of difference in distance between most drivers. I mainly need something that's going to stay in the fairway, and this club seems to fit the bill. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Playing video golf games and watching Tiger on TV got me interested in golf. My brother and I picked up a couple cheap golf clubs and started hitting balls at the range, and then eventually picked up some yard sale clubs and started playing the game on our own. What age did you start golfing & How long have you golfed?
Miketheripper replied to viking's topic in The 19th Hole
I started playing golf when I was 35, so I've been playing for about 23 years, although I missed a couple of years due to a bad back and spinal fusion surgery. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -
This is a pretty simple recipe. Take some boneless skinless chicken breast, place in a sturdy ziplock bag and pound it out a little. Then sprinkle and rub in some (Chef Meritos) chicken seasoning, give it about an hour before adding your favorite Italian dressing (Wish-Bone Robusto) let it marinade for about 2 hours. Throw it on the grill and enjoy with your choice of side dishes. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

What's the best deal you've ever gotten on equipment?
Miketheripper replied to STUDque's topic in General Equipment Talk
I got a like new demo set of Cobra F7 irons GW-5 for $150.00 off eBay, it appeared that only a couple of the clubs had ever been hit, and then like an idiot spent $75.00 for a matching 4 iron that I rarely use. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -
Which tournaments do you hope are replayed?

In 1963 my local golf course the Hesperia golf and country club in Hesperia California, which was a PGA tour stop from 1957 through 1963, hosted Shell's wonderful world of Golf challenge matches, players featured were Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Billy Casper, Gary player, Al geiberger and Gene littler. I saw this on the Golf channel at least 10 years ago, and would love to see it again. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -

Maybe there's problem with the F9s or maybe you're just hitting the ball extremely thin compared to most people, I don't own F9 or F8 clubs, but I do own the F6 hybrid, fairways and driver which also have a pretty sharp edge around the speed channel and I've had no problems with cutting whatsoever. It's nice to see somebody doing a review of this push cart, I bought the earlier version of the caddytek EZ fold a few years ago for $115, it's basically the same cart, but uses a bungee cord to secure the top of the bag and there's no cell phone holder, after three years of steady use I've had no problems whatsoever, and it's half the price of a clicgear push cart and comes with a lot of accessories you have to pay extra for on the clicgear, a handbrake would be nice, but I rarely use the brake anyway, so, not a big deal. The Intentional Club Throw Scramble Partner
Miketheripper replied to Mr. 82's topic in The 19th Hole
That is a pretty strange reaction, I've played with a few people, my brother included, who have flown into a rage after a bad shot and destroyed clubs they were actually using at the time, I guess this is a better option. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -
I'm not sure if I've ever played my best rounds alone, because I end up getting bored and hit multiple balls just to kill time while I'm waiting, but, I will say hitting a great individual shot with no witnesses or someone to high-five is a little depressing. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

My bag is almost all Cobra, except for a couple of older Titleist wedges and a Tommy armour putter, Cobra make some good equipment at a little bit lower price than the Big guys, and the prices usually drop quite a bit more on their slightly used or year old models compared to similar clubs from TaylorMade or Callaway. Welcome to the club, I'm 56 years old and realized a few years back that I needed to move up to the white tee box, my local golf course gave me a false sense of how far I actually hit the ball due to firm fairways that let the ball run, but, after playing a course we're carrying the ball a long distance was necessary for a good approach shot, I realized just how short I actually drive the ball. Old age and reality suck! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

For the most part, just warm water and a stiff bristle toothbrush, WD-40 is great for removing the occasional sticky sap, just make sure to clean it with soap and water afterwards. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Not a lefty myself, but my brother is, and lefties do get screwed as far as new club options, but the deals on used clubs are incredible, every time I look for a club on eBay, I find left hanged versions for about half the price. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
