  2. The TT Score is a a different shaft from the Proj X 6.0. It will fly higher and feel more active. It's certainly not to say that it won't work well for you. Another very cost conscious option is the FST shafts. They are an off brand KBS shaft. You should give the custom shop at GW a call and tell them your plans. The TS4 is not quite as forgiving as the TS3 but not by much. The TS4 has a higher COG and looks far more like a true players blade. Coming from those Wilson's, it may suit your eye better. The TT Score shaft can suit a very wide range of golfers. But again it's a different shaft than the 6.0s. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  3. It has some metal flake. Not a ton but just enough. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  4. I think that the Pro sounds even better. And I own both the TSR3 and 4 Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  5. Exactly my thoughts. This is going to be a hugely popular release. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

  7. I ordered head only. I have about 6 shafts with Maltby adapters. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk Have you hit it yet? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  8. The first edition of adapters way back when didn't hold well at all. Then, they adopted the 'threads' style. This version of the adapter has the threads all the way to the top, and they are deep. It gets rid of the plastic ferrule. Overall, the quality of this head is a step up. I would swear it's a Titleist head if it wasn't marked as a Maltby. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  9. The TC Pro is an absolute beast. From the sound, feel, and low spin nature. It shocked me with its performance. It's very close in build parameters to the Titleist TSR4. I ran it in a head to head comparison, and the Pro blew it away. Dispersion and control were far better. Sound which is almost hard to believe was just as good if not netter than the TSR4. Feel certainly was. I did also run the TSR3 against it and that head faired far better vs the Pro. The Pro just barely edged it out. Oh and the head cover is very high quality and slick looking. 10. I'm shocked how much that improved the looks of the KE4MAX heads. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  11. I was waiting to see how they played. It's such a joy to work with those heads. Not easy, but they are such a classic. Great to hear you hit them well. [emoji122] Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  12. Some reference photos on the TE V4 and the PTM Blacks. It will be a while before I can test them, but good God are they gorgeous in their simplicity. A very sexy topline that is truly minimal. It's compact compared to the PTM. It should be a bit more demanding. The DBM finsh will make it play firmer in feel vs the pearl chrome. I'll probably use the GW and PW as PTM replacements. As both the PTM GW and PW look huge to the eye. I wish more of the Maltby line had a DBM finish option. Because once you bag them, you get hooked. The way they hold up and grooves stay sharp is hard to overlook. Never mind how amazing they look even a few seasons in. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  13. Generally speaking across the board of Maltby heads. The C dimension or heel to toe length are longer than most all OEM heads. Thats a key point to why they are so easy to play. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  14. Love it. Can you get a closeup of the ferrules. And source. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  15. I have not found the TS4 to be an intuitive iron. That you can just grab and go. There was a learning curve for me. It does perform about as good as any iron I've hit, but I've got to be committed to my swing. It's not blade like, nor is it KE4 Max like. Dedicate some time to it. 16. You won't ever think of the TS4 as a budget club head again. It gives up nothing in looks or performance to any other club. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  17. I certainly agree on the subject of the TS4. It's a fun club but needs to be respected. It truly rewards an aggressive swing. It also really brings back memories of the OG, MMB. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  18. The impression I got is that he never had any intention of actually doing anything. Over the span of time he jerked around, at least three times he said in a DM that the head was drying in the rack and he would hit it the next day. Then it was he didn't have the right shaft. The whole thing was just a joke to him. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  19. TS3s filling the bag today went on to score a -1 71. Simple setup with the Score LT shafts. Had a blast Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  20. If the PX is a higher launching shaft then yes. Very compatible. TT Score LT is a legitimate shaft. Don't let the price fool you. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

  22. Did you try to counterbalance that? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  23. So my initial go round with the TS3 heads was rudely ruined by a shaft setup that was entirely too stiff. I struggled to hit the TS3 well in play but could be a range hero with a very strong swing. My in play swing is much smoother yet I couldn't get the TS3s to cooperate. I was losing them right over and over again. It wasn't until someone mentioned the very low bottom of the bore to ground measurement. This will have an effect on overall club stiffness. In the Rapid Taper case, which is very sensitive to flex setup, my clubs CPMd at a full flex stiffer. 13 to 14 CPM higher than what I like. I am almost embarrassed at not realizing something was so drastically off. Rapid Tapers are so unique they don't act the same way other shafts do in certain scenarios. So once I rebuild the TS3s, I'll have a TS4 and a TS1M loaded up for a three way playoff. Initially when I had a TS3 head loaded up in a RT 105 R+ shaft I was surprised at how great it was performing. When I made up the full set they were all S flex. Built up, they tested to be just about an X. Little had I realized that the R+ was playing at almost an S flex. For as long as I have been building clubs and think you know it all.... you can certainly over look some details. Should have know better.
  24. On his issue I wouldn't necessarily chase shaft options, but I would go with a few degrees stronger loft. I would stick with a stable and well matched set of shafts. Going as lite as he can control. I would also pay attention the the ball being used. A high spin ball kills distance on the average player. I have both the TS1M and the TS4 inbound.
