  1. I tried a few of the new Cleveland Launchers at a demo day a few months ago and I was impressed. If I was looking for a driver at the time I probably would have ordered the Lite version. But I don’t need anything new at the moment.
  2. I would suggest trying a Lazrus hybrid. They are less expensive than all of the ones you have listed. So if you don’t like it you’re not out any real money. I got a 6h from them last Christmas and it has been great. Really easy to hit.
  3. I am usually inconsistent with my 56° wedge. But for some reason my 7 iron has been giving me trouble lately.
  4. PXG 0211 driver and 7-pw are my latest additions. Maltby 4w, 3-5 hybrids and sw, and then a few strays - Srixon 7w, Cleveland CBX2 50° and putter Lazrus 6h. I like and use all of my clubs. Though I am sure there is some overlapI am fine keeping them all in the bag for now.
  5. I have the ProForce V2 Black in 2 of my hybrids. It is a great shaft. Probably the reason I can even hit hybrids now.
  6. I could never hit a 3 wood off the deck, but I have had success with a 4 wood. So instead of 3w-5w I go 4w-7w.
  7. I usually play the Srixon Soft Feel in matte green. But I tried a Saintnine U-Pro yesterday and it was really good.
  8. I received my quarterly Birdie Bundle today. It included a couple of really nice polos, a belt, a couple of Saintnine U-Pro balls and a ball marker. I also went to Roger Dunn to see what I could blow some money on. But I didn’t find anything interesting.
  9. 56* - Other than out of the sand or on full shots I am hesitant to use it. Way too inconsistent. If I have to hit a shot over a bunker if the grass is even moderately long I can't use it. There's no telling where my ball will go. But usually it will end up in that bunker.
  10. My current gap is 42-50-56. I went from a 45 to a 42 when I changed irons. So far it is not an issue. If it becomes one maybe I'll add a 46 and remove something at the top end. But I doubt I'll need to do that.
  11. I usually start looking around every 2 years or so "just because". I don't expect much distance increase anymore but I always look for more draw bias to counteract my fade/slice tendencies.
  12. I just bought the Kindle version after hearing the interview with Jon Sherman on the Golf Unfiltered podcast.
  13. My unicorn is my Maltby KE4 Tour 4 wood. The only fwy I have been able to reliably hit so far. I also carry a Srixon 7 wood. It launches higher than anything else I have, but I am not as consistent with it.
  14. I just got my 0211DC 7i-PW on Friday, and played 9 with them today. Only a few swings so far, but I am pretty happy with my shots. The adjustment period should be pretty short, and I think I will get more distance from them than I did with my previous set.
  15. I received these yesterday and hit the range with them today. They will get their first real test tomorrow morning.
  16. I noticed that the other day. GigaGolf was my brand when I came back to the game in 2017. Once I saw the prices of new clubs I knew I had to find a more reasonable alternative. They did me well for a few years but they hardly ever introduce new offerings, so it is good to see they finally have added a new iron.
  17. I played pretty well today - for me. No real blowup holes and minimal mistakes. If not for my putting I would have had an outstanding round.
  18. Sorry, I have no idea. That was over a year ago. It was a great deal though.
  19. Does anyone here have any experience with the 799s? I just started looking at them to possibly replace my current 7-pw.
  20. First impressions are that it looks good at address and it feels good.Very light. I have only used it for a couple of shots so far. But I’ll have a better idea after next weekend. My fade hasn’t improved any, unfortunately. But it is no worse either.
  21. My 0211 came in on Monday. I finally got to test drive it at the range today. First round with it tomorrow morning.
  22. Does anyone have experience with the Project X Cypher? PXG is offering it for the 0211X driver. I am looking for a high launching shaft for a slower swing speed and that sounds like an option. But I have never heard of it before. https://www.golfworks.com/project-x-cypher-graphite-wood-shafts/p/tt0164/
  23. I want a new bag. Trying to hold out to see if BagBoy or Ogio are releasing any new stand bags.
  24. At least for the foreseeable future I am happy with my 4w/7w combination. I could never really hit a 3 wood but the 16° 4 wood works for me.
  25. I hit my 3h and 7 wood around the same distance, but I use the 7 wood when I need to hit a much higher shot. It isn't very often that I need it, but when I do it is very reliable.
