When I first started playing Roger Dunn had a brand called Cougar that was really cheap. I stocked up on them and didn't realize how bad they were until I hit a Top Flight XL. Those things were like rocks compared to Top Flight, and Top Flights are pretty bad themselves. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You're definitely not alone. When I hit a good hybrid shot it's beautiful. Unfortunately I only hit it like that about once in every ten attempts. I went with an ironwood thinking that would be easier to hit, but I am still trying to figure that out also. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I bought a sampler of all four Cut balls - red, white, grey and blue. I figure grey will be the one I am most interested in, but I started with the low end red. They are awful - like rocks. Hopefully the white will at least be playable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Unfortunately I have two whole boxes of Top Flite XLs. When I played in the 90s they were my favorite ball. Now they're like rocks. The Top Flite Bomb is a decent ball though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Same here. My Tour Edge HL3 ironwood should arrive tomorrow. It SHOULD make me more consistent than I am with my current hybrids. I gave it another try with the hybrids at the range yesterday, and I hit maybe 2 out of 10 shots. The rest were all over the place.

Too bad. I would pull the trigger on the 3 TODAY if it was available, and ditch my current 3h.

I struggle with my hybrids. Which ones do you play that look like irons? I may have to try them.

Do the front wheels swivel?
