  1. Wait....what??? I thought they were playing golf at this point. Didn't Toronto beat them?????
  2. I had done it before and had been "fit" into the e12 soft twice. This time I messed with the settings and basically discovered if my current gamer, which happens to be the Wilson Duo Soft, is a surlyn cover then it insists on fitting me into the e12. As soon as I changed my current ball to the Callaway Chrome Soft X, of which I do have a few in my bag, it immediately decided that I was a Tour B RX guy. The only change that got me from the e12 to the Tour B RX was changing to a urethane ball as my current ball. For what it's worth. . .
  3. Absolutely. I just got done reading them. I don't think I have a question that he hasn't already answered, and there's some great information in his responses that you don't necessarily get from the report. Almost as valuable as the report itself.
  4. I'll second that. I think they're great shirts for the price. You can wear just about any color with tan. One of my most common golf outfits is a pair of tan/khaki shorts with a solid red Under Armor polo. Simple.
  5. An impatient Scotsman? Never!! (My MacKinnon blood made me say that!)
  6. I got a chance to look at it, too. Agree completely with the "wayyy too much information to give you a winner" comment. When I finally get a chance to really dig in, it'll take me forever to figure out what I want to do regarding golf balls. As you would expect, it''s extremely well done.
  7. One of the primary purposes of the rules is for everyone to know what to expect. He undoubtedly expected you to play by the rules, and he should have expected to do the same. Making him retake the stroke isn't being petty, it's establishing that the match WILL be played by the rules. Nothing wrong with that. Sent from my XT1585 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  8. There's a lot to like about that bag. Nice write-up. Thanks for posting it. Sent from my XT1585 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  9. Exactly where I stand on it. I always have a good time playing and I'm just not that concerned about handicap. I could fairly easily take 5-10 strokes off it with some better choices, but I like taking on the challenge of specific shots, even though the probability of making them is low. Just have fun playing your game. Sent from my XT1585 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  10. Don't know how I missed this. Congratulations! Sent from my XT1585 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  11. I agree that the Bruins have a better chance of pulling it off than the Celtics, but I'd love to see them both make it happen.
  12. Sorry, I digress. I heard Weezer on the cello, and Hayseed Dixie came to mind. Just had to share the joy with everyone.
  13. How about some AC/DC done bluegrass style?
  14. I'd be inclined to think that, too. It would be interesting to know what the differences are in the production of the different colors.
  15. I love this thread! This was one of my pre-race songs from my stock car days and it would work for me for walk-up music, too.
  16. As many balls as I put in the water, I'd need them to be amphibious to realistically test which balls are best for me!
  17. Interesting...I'm testing the yellow, and I'm just not seeing the wear that you guys are. Maybe I don't hit it as hard (a distinct probability) because I'm pretty sure I hit it more often than you guys would on any given round. I've got one I've played 2 full rounds with that is almost like new. I'll have to pull it out and grab a couple of pics.
  18. Sounds like a great opportunity to me. It would be an unforgettable experience, I'm sure.
  19. I have an American flag Tin Cup that I was given, so I pretty much use that. I'm awful with it, though. There seem to be a lot of runs in the ink, no matter what I try.
  20. Very interesting. I'd love to know what someone who actually tried them has to say. Thanks for posting that, @GolfSpy Stroker
  21. By far the most difficult one of those is #4. The number of times I've said "I wonder if.......(something completely unrelated to the shot)" to myself during a backswing is incredible. It can happen to me on the first tee.
  22. Not me, but my son just grabbed these for my grandson. $25 at a local thrift shop. Driver, hybrid, 7, 9, SW and putter, along with the bag. Thought it was a fantastic deal.
  23. Gonna be listening to a little Garth Brooks in about 3 minutes, according to the countdown.
  24. Sounds like a good time. I'm sure my first set was only 6 clubs, too. Some of it would depend on the course, but from my current setup I'd probably go 3h, 6, 9, 56* and putter. Good luck! Make sure you give us an update.
