    Yea, someone else I'm playing against this week has him on the roster and I'm sitting looking at the TV yelling "where they heck were you last season?" My new super-duper draft algorithm had him low on the list this year as rumors were circling that he was to marry... and we've recently seen Cupids effect on some players .

    Clearly you didn’t know about the hair and mustache, or you would have known that Cupid is powerless against a force of nature like that (unless he marries Delilah.)

    Clarification...I had an eagle putt that I left 3 inches short, didn't have the eagle.  I did have the dunk for eagle on the next hole, and a birdie on the next.  -4 over those three holes.  I should have quit the game for good right there.  It'll never happen again.

    We get a choice and chose median on purpose because it is a more accurate representation of the middle.

    Never even thought about it until right now...

    Does Fantrax actually use the league median or is it really the league mean?  Those can be fairly different numbers and I never thought to ask.

    Speaking of Sirius... I'm so bummed.  Our 2018 Expedition MAX has Sirius XM and I had channel 92 PGA Tour Radio during the intro (freebie) period and most of last year under my first annual subscription.  Living in MT, satellite radio is "the bomb".   I often listened on drives to from Bozeman, Butte and Dillon.  I renewed my subscription in late October and just realized recently that channel 92 no longer exists and that PGA Tour is now on 208... which my radio can't get  .

    Any chance you have access to the app with your subscription? I have SiriusXM in my 2016 Ram and use the app on my phone in my car to play it through the radio. If you don’t have cell access it doesn’t work, but I’m able to get stations with the app that my truck radio doesn’t get.

    Just a thought.

    I played in a scramble this past summer at the course in Maine I played as a kid. The technology department at the local high school had designed and 3D-printed a bunch of tees that they were giving away. One of the pre-round announcements was to not use them because they mess with the mowing equipment. That was the first I’d ever heard about something like that, but I can see it being a problem. Water bottles are another story...

    Honestly it is hard to remember all the individual clubs over the duration of the testing season. That said, Honma was one of the most impressive club lines that I hit last year. I liked them so much that Tr-20 series is in my bag.

    I always advocate that you try to hit clubs before purchase but as we all know that isn’t always possible or we just have to have some specific club.

    With that qualification I think Honma makes great clubs and are underrated in the US market because they aren’t well known.

     

    Didn't mean to make you feel like a target😉  I couldn't remember who was part of the testing group.  I knew I'd seen Honma in someone's signature as well, but again couldn't remember who.

    I agree with hitting them, when you can.  I think I'd be hard pressed to find some lefty Honmas anywhere around.  I actually was wading through looking for Ping G series clubs when the Honmas popped up.  I have gotten to hit several iterations of the G series so I have a pretty good idea of what I'd be getting in to, which was why I was digging online.  When I saw the Honma they really caught my attention and I figured I should find out what I could before I made a decision one way or the other.

    Thanks for the response.  I'll have to stew on these for a few days.

     

     

    Honma T//World XP-1

    It seems that every time I turn on my phone, there's a set of Honma T//World XP-1's staring at me.  It's making me a little uneasy.  They're starting to look at me the way those bleepin' Reese's Peanut Butter Trees used to just before they'd jump into my shopping cart.  I don't know why they have to pick on me!

    In all seriousness, they have my attention.  I understand that Honma has a great reputation and makes really good quality stuff.  Does anyone have experience with these they'd be willing to share.  I can get a set (5-11) for a little over $500.  It looks to me like they sell for around $200/club on the Honma website.  I'd question the authenticity, but I've found this particular seller to be reputable in past dealings with them.

    I can't find a lot on them other than they were the most forgiving in the Most Wanted testing in 2020 (which is just what I'm looking for).  I'd love to know if any of you have experience with these, even if it was just hitting them for the Most Wanted testing.

    There was definitely something funny going on. At one point it wasn’t showing any of mine playing, then it was showing the ones that were, then it wasn’t again. At one point I searched “available and playing” and it only listed Sergio Garcia. Something had to be glitching.

    This makes the job of considering player changes using the "available and playing in upcoming event" a bit whacko. 

    Exactly why I was hoping someone would tell me it’s just a setting or something. According to the Genesis site, 4 of mine are playing but exactly 0 have the check mark. I’m still not seeing any on the players page, either.
