  1. Im still trying to figure out why you drive on a parkway, and park on a drive way.
  2. The Willamette Valley is " bracing" for some sort of Artic Blast. Snow, ice, and freezing rain. Current reports shows Salem not really getting hit as hard as the forecast projected a few days ago
  3. Finally got a driver (F9) that Ive been wanting do my next purchase wil be an Orange Whip.
  4. Oh...heres another one that Im seeing more of. I go to my gym and will use the hot tub on a regular basis. Not only to soothe my body, but to relax, unwind, and unplug. Ive been tormented with listening to a few Facetime conversations as of late and Im not a fan. I can tolerate the youngsters snap chatting their friends, but cant tolerate hearing conversations with your buddies or girlfriends. You have to talk loud in a hot tub and I dont want to hear it. I guess Im getting old, but I find it very rude.
  5. Okay, I love music but Ive came across a scenario twice in the last couple of weeks. People shopping with music playing from their phone. Didnt love their selection or the environment it was in. Anybody else hearing this in stores?
  6. I dont care if peeps wear them on the course and I wear a thin hoodie to the range, but I cant stand the hood on as its too restrictive for my liking. I need to be free to swing so keep it as light as possible.
  7. Interesting people are finding them not durable. I always thought they were the most durable balls Ive played. Did something change in 2021?
  8. Not a Spieth fan by any stretch, but the social media or golf media didnt do him any favors by saying "Spieth us back". Please. 1 huge round doesn't mean he is back Felt bad for several.guys faltering along the way, but congrats to Koepka to seizing the chance.
  9. He will he back in the same uniform next year.
  10. I have no idea. Hard to get against KC, but equally hard to go against TB as he has his team believing. Betting wise Ive had some solids options come my way, buy not touching this game. KC wins going away, or TB wins a close on. Wings, chips, and bean dip.
  11. Picked up a new Cobra F9 driver today. Wrong shaft but the shop was cool enough to let me trade it for a shaft out of a Speedzone straight across.
  12. A little research found that 40% of aces are made with a 7, 8, or 9i. Titleist account for 45% of all aces. Average years of playing is 24 years. Average hdcp is a 14. 3500/1 to make an ace.
  13. Maybe I should stuff a $100 bill in my bag so Im ready to buy drinks. Im good at spending $100s
  14. Started golfing when I was im grade school and at age 53 still looking. I did take about 10 years off so maybe thats the problem. lol...Scared it and hit a few sticks along the way. Last year when we started playing those foam inserts, I thought I had an ace only to find the ball a foot above the stick....hmm..to this day I believe without the foam, I had an ace. Back to playing and maybe more par 3 three courses should be on my agenda. Good luck to all of us.
  15. Online Im finding muddy info so maybe someone here can help. Is the F9 considered a low, mid, or high slin driver? Or is it based off of loft and their weight distribution design?
  16. Many of the reviews Ivd seen, people are loving the new Srixon. I fondled it a few weeks ago and watched a few people hit it and they are loving it. I didnt hit it as Im nursing a bad wrist. Lots of peeps waiting on the RAD, but reviews dont show any significant difference from the Extreme. For me, Im shopping for an F9 or an Extreme when the price suits me.
  17. I work PT at a range working on clubs and I have a window to the range. Some peeps I see are peeps just pounding balls for fun. Others I see are peeps who play a lot and want to get better, but still just pound balls with no purpose I seldom take my whole bag unless its right before a round I always have my alignment sticks and give myself plenty of time to practice or work on something particular. In my case its usually setup/alignment, tempo, or swing plane which is always a struggle. One of my favorite drills is to take 7, 8. 9. and wedges out and hit them various distances with different flights. I feel its easier to keep the shorter clubs on plane and those are clubs I hit well like many of us. One guy that is a regular at the range will play a specific course in his mind so he utilizes his whole bag and different shapes.
  18. I got my 2nd shot Saturday. 1st shot a little tired the next day. 2nd shot gave me a slight headache and wiped me out the next day. Pfizer
  19. I used to pull for Rahm, but he hasnt really tamed his attitude much from what Ive seen. Whats with players dropping their club after a poor shot? Maybe I would as well if it wasnt so much work picking it back up.
  20. Or it landed in a previous plug? He realizes his every move is under a microscope. Ive ended up in anothers plug, but never in a shoe in a golf cart.
  21. Ohhhhh....squirrels are public enemy #1 at my house. Big walnut trees front and back draw them in. Shade trees and squirrels or take them out and no squirrels? I still have both
  22. I live a driver and a 3 wood from the banks of the Willamette R. We have a large park about a mule from me along the banks that has coyotes, deer, and occasionally cougars and elk will be spotted along I see deer and coons every so often at night driving through the neighborhood. No big deal to me. My home course skirts a housing development and the country side. Coyotes and deer are commonly seen as well as a cougar sighting once in a great while. Ive seen a resident Bobcat a few times. My driving range in the same area will get deer and coyotes. I personally love seeing the wildlife.
