What was your Shot of the Day?

I told myself while looking where I wanted to land the ball, I wanted to fly the bunker. I actually pulled it off, chipped on and 2 putted for par. This was the best round I've played to date, and just started playing last October. This game has me hooked big time! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. I try to copy Bubba's swing and Phil's putting style...to say the least, I have a lot of learning to do[emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I know right! That seems opposite to me but maybe we are slicing because we are contact more toward the heel with an over the top swing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Ok thank you. A Golf Pro also suggested to me to position the driver where the ball is more toward the toe in order to fix my slice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ironically I have the exact same issue with my driver. I will try the stronger grip next time at the range. Where did you move the ball position? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Hello all, I'm just starting over in the game after 16 years of not playing and I'm having issues. I'm seriously thinking about golf lessons and establishing an even more vigorous practice regime. My question to the group is how to deal with the following when standing over the ball knowing it has to go a into a 4" hole that seems a light year away: Posture, address, ball stance, grip, arms, backwing, swing path, shifting your weight, patience, club face square?, downswing, attack angle, and follow through. I'm playing Callaway XR16 driver, fairway and OS irons with an outside to inside swing path, hitting off the toe of all clubs with slice most of the time with an occasional hook. 14. I agree with this. My ball flight is extremely high as well even when I adjusted my driver from 10.5* to 9*. Im right handed and normally tee the ball high and play the ball off my left big toe, then I lowered the tee some and moved the ball back a couple of inches toward the middle of my stance and my ball flight is now lower...still a slice, but lower [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hello from KCMO

Sweet! I played at Falcon Ridge a couple weeks ago. Have you played there? There is dog leg on the back nine that I used a roof of a home as a ricochet to keep my ball in play [emoji23]. I have serious swing issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
