My oh my, I love golf, beer, whiskey, cigars, my wife and kid but man do I LOVE burgers! My perfect burger… Bun: Potato, buttered and toasted Burger: 80/20 Ground Brisket cooked medium rare… pink and juicy middle with Pepper Jack Cheese Condiments: Mayo, BBQ (Mitch’s Whomp Sauce), Dijon Toppings: Nuetske’s Pepper Bacon(Thick Cut) X2, Fried Egg(runny yolk is must), Tomato (Beefsteak lightly salted), Banana Peppers (on bottom of bun so heat grazes tongue) Sides: Freshly cooked Salt and Vinegar Tater Chips Drink: New England IPA, preferably a Mosaic Cutting Tiles from Trillium or an Orange Julius from Treehouse

I have a now 15 month old. Is my one and only. The first year was sporadic at best for golf, but had a great understanding with the Mrs that we both needed our own time for the health of the family. My advice, find what works best for you and your partner. There is no one size fits all approach. Each relationship dynamic is different. For me, my wife sees golf as my outlet a few times a month and encourages me to get out and play. Best of luck and it really is the best thing ever, sacrificing some rounds of golf will be nothing when you see the blessing of your own child.

Beautiful morning on the west side of WA today. Going to be 70° today! We have a 4 man random draw hot ball day for mens league. Shotgun start. Excited to hopefully play well in the D tier for my team. This is my second event as missed last month due to the dreaded stomach bug.

According to my Arccos data, my 9i is 148-159. I am fairly confident in my distances since using the Arccos regularly. They’re pretty close.

Looking forward to this! Excited to see, as a high handicap golfer, if it really does help me form more of a process for every shot. I do try to replicate a process but definitely am not consistent with it.

Haze Cadet Hazy IPA / 7.2% Solid Hazy. Very Fruity with that hint of dankness. Solid 4.6/5 Ordered some more sours for the weekend.

Yuengling was my brother’s favorite beer. Unfortunately can’t get it in WA state… yet. Apparently Coors is suppose to distribute it sometime soon. I always try to have one when I can for his memory.

Well… have always wanted to try Great Notion and found out they ship now. So, I loaded up. Blueberry Muffin / 6% Tastes like a Blueberry Poptart. Absolutely fire! 4.8/5 Return to Space Hazy / 7% Super juicy and a great Hazy. 4.6/5 Lemon Glow Up DIPA / 8% This one doesn’t do it for me. It smells like Carmex Chapstick. Very light lemon flavor. Suppose to taste like Girl Scout Cookie, does not. 3.5/5

The final result. My brother loved bald eagles and as kids we would go watch them nest at Utah Lake with our Grandma. This was the theme/ideas he chose. Happy 40th Birthday to him!

Good morning crew! Early one on the West coast for me... baby decided to yell at 3 am, so the coffee was brewed and here we are, Up and At 'Em! A pretty good week, After being laid off in October I signed an offer letter to get my butt back to work starting 2/26. Extremely excited as I transition from a large global company to a much smaller company with a massive runway for success. To top that off, an exciting week ahead. My big brother passed 3 years ago from Pancreatic Cancer and this Tues would have been his 40th Bday. So I have a trip planned to go get a half sleeve tattoo that he picked out, while he was in treatment, to honor his memory. Hope everyone has a great day and even better weekend!
