  1. Thanks for the replies guys. I agree I need to schedule a fitting with a professional so I will know for sure what shaft fits my swing best. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. I know that I want a lighter shaft than the s300 and a smoother shaft if that makes sense. Nothing crazy light but a little lighter would be nice. I haven’t really been fit for irons before only spent a few minutes hitting on the launch monitor in the golf store. I do believe my local golf store has the Mizuno shaft optimizer but I’m not 100 percent sure about that. I have actually hit x100s at the pga superstore before and they didn’t feel much harsher than the s300. I’ve always played dynamic gold shafts and just want something that feels better. 3. I’m currently playing s300s in my irons and a worker at my local golf shop said I should go to a stiffer shaft. I’ve been reading some and I’m wondering if the nippon modus 120s or 120x would fit me better. Also which project x and kbs shafts would play stiffer than the s300. The worker said I could go to an x100 but he thought a stiff plus would be the ticket. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. I would even understand the price tag a little more if there was some kind of unbelievable technology put into the irons that no one has ever seen but for blades? Come on Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. $2000 is a little steep! Or am I crazy? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Well just lookee here folks [emoji1312]we may have us a lucky winner! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. I think I know some people who might need this book. Oh wait! It wouldn’t do them any good to have a book because they can’t even read! Silly me Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. Yes this is my entry since the lucky winner has yet to be chosen Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. I'm 26 years old and I've been a chemical technician working in a chemical manufacturing plant for the last 4 years. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. I would contact Mizuno with the serial number on the irons and ask for their authenticity Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Thanks STU I love my irons and they feel just as good as anything else I've ever hit. I agree that the driver is something else I just think it gets overshadowed by some of the bigger brand names. More people should give honma a try, they make some great equipment. 13. Personally I don't need any extra distance but I want something that has a “players iron” look to it with some added forgiveness. I'm honestly willing to try each and every iron model there is to offer and find the one that works best for me. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. After seeing some of the “players distance irons” in the golf store I am really excited to try some of these out. I hit the ping i500 and i210 and I'm very impressed. I hope to get fitted later this year or the beginning of next year and I have to say that I will more than likely choose one of the players distance models. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. Mizuno JPX 919 tours and Srixon z785 irons, also Cleveland RTX-4 wedges Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  16. Thanks for all the replies guys. As you all probably guessed, my wife and I are expecting our first child in December of this year. I have always been big on family and I know that I will put them before golf. I kinda expected that my playing/practice time would go down quite a bit but I was just wanting to hear from you all how it was affected when you became parents. I know that when he's older I will introduce him to the game and it will be a plus if he enjoys it. If not, that's okay too. Thanks again for all that you guys offered in your responses. 17. For the ones of you on here that have children, how was your playing time/practice affected when you became a parent? Honma g1x red stock stiff shaft 45.5 in Nike vapor fly 3 wood stiff Mitsubishi tensei blue shaft Cleveland 588 combo cb/mb irons 3-pw dynamic gold s300 Snake Eyes 51,55,59 forged wedges stock wedge shafts Cleveland 2135 TFI satin elevado 34”
  18. Just got a box of Bridgestone b330 rx and I am very pleased with them Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  19. Thinking I need a set of slightly more forgiving irons. I game Cleveland 588 forged cb/mb combo currently but not sure what to look for. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. Any love for tour edge? If any of you play tour edge equipment tell me what you think of the brand. Do you feel they make a quality product at a reasonable price? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. Just on looks alone it would be a toss up between the c300 forged p790 and the forged tec black Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  22. Thanks guys. When I hear distance in an iron I automatically think of less spin. I don't want something that won't spin enough to stay on the green but it doesn't seem like the case with these irons. Also I prefer a “players” style head Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
