  1. What are your thoughts on the lineup? Man, I haven't had personal success with Mizuno irons in the past but these just look incredible. I don't care if the Mizunos result in a lifetime of shanking, they're going ITB!!! Or is it the i210s??!! Like you said, what a time to be alive.
  2. Today off the yellows it was 159 yards playing 153 with the slope. Whites is normally 175 playing 165-170. It's a tough hole with the green lower than the tee, and with the high winds we get. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. There's some big undulations, back left corner of the green is bowled so you can leave yourself some funky putts! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. Just thought I'd put a photo up as the course is looking nice after some rain. Usually a water fountain going but they've turned it off for some reason! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Enjoy the forum, such a good place to be! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. I love it! I have an inch shorter shaft in it. Not due to height reasons, it just felt better when addressing the ball. I'd like to have a go with the MAX to see if I get any different results but I'm in no rush to change anyway. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Thanks for the replies everyone, you've been a big help. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. I played with some friends recently and my friend hit over the water in front of the green on a par 3, then rolled back into the water. Does he have to drop behind the water he came over, or could he of dropped back and to the left of the water? He would of been no closer, but wouldn't of had to go back over the water? 9. Definitely my 54 and 60 degree wedges. I only started last year and once I'd changed the standard SW to a fitted 54 and added a lob wedge, I had much better results around the green, where beginners find themselves a lot. Just had so many more options and loved practising my short game. Handicap came down from 28 to 20 in 6 months and a lot was down to being able to hit better shots after I'd missed the green. 10. My home club has very thick rough too. My handicap is 20 so at first I was trying Hollywood shots with hybrids and just putting myself in more trouble. I've started using a 7-PW just to get out and then try save Par from there. That's if the lie is bad obviously. My scores have improved from just taking my medicine when needed. Harder than it sounds to do though as well all know. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Great WITB. Just made my first ever post in this section and now my post feels rubbish compared to this haha! Great job. Great set up. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. I think it's in my signature but I have; Ping g400 SFT driver Ping g400 3 wood (15deg) Ping g400 19deg hybrid Ping g30 5-pw Ping Glide 2.0 54 and 60deg wedges Scotty Cameron 2016 Newport 2 Ping Tranverse Bag Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. I'm new here so just getting to grips with the app and making some posts! I've tried a few putters over the last 12/13 months (which is how long I've been golfing). I just couldn't get settled. My first putter was a Ping Sigma G Darby, then an old Scotty Futura X. Finally settled on a 2016 Newport 2 with a really thin Scotty grip. I think the best thing I added to my bag from just having a set of irons and a hybrid to begin with, was definitely a lob wedge and a proper 54 degree instead of the standard SW which came with the set. Just gave me so many more options around the and off th
  14. Thanks for the replies! Already having trouble trying to work out how I can make an image small enough to upload for a profile photo! I'm sure I'll get there in the end.
  15. Just thought I'd get my first post in. I've been a member for a while but only ever read topics/discussions. I'm going to try and get involved a bit more from now on. I play a lot of golf, 3 or 4 rounds a week, with launch monitor/driving range sessions in between. Lucky to have a good work rota so I can get out whenever I like really. I'm a member at two local clubs. I started playing golf last September, bough new irons, bad m, trolley etc to keep me committed. I'd played for two years when I was 15/16. I'm 29 now so it was tough at first but having oreovious experience helped. Han
