  1. Always a hat with a 360* wide brim and sunscreen because skin cancers are no fun!
  2. Cypress Point. The best course in the United States that I have not yet played.
  3. Cut balls are junk, but urethane doesn’t “wear off”. It is what the cover is made of, so it can’t wear off. The finish may be wearing off, but remember, you get what you pay for and these balls simply are not very good. Contrary to one of the answers you got, the Maxfli Tour balls are excellent quality, consistent and, when on sale, are a great bargain.
  4. Don’t guess and forget different suggestions on this thread, though intentions are good. GET PROFESSIONALLY FITTED.
  5. Interesting, but the actual selling price would have to come down considerably from 40 bucks a dozen for me to try them. I play Pro V1 and can buy absolute mint recycled ones for $34-35 bucks a dozen.
  6. I have been using the long putter for 30 years and it has been a blessing to me. It cured my putting yips and also allowed me to practice my putting for as long as I want with my dicey back. I was really pissed off at the USGA for banning the anchoring of it, unnecessarily, and it took me a while to get use to using it unanchored. But now I can't tell the difference. TRY IT AND DON'T GIVE UP ON IT. Just remember to putt with your shoulders only and stand tall like Bernhard Langer , not bent over like Adam Scott.
  7. I have been through the same issues. Went with a 5 wood and have never looked back.
  8. Unless you have a very high swing speed, the Tour B RX would be an excellent choice and would play like the Pro V1.
  9. The magnets are in the MRI machines, not in CT scanners.
  10. Do yourself a favor and look at Stack and Tilt. Nick Taylor and/or Rob Cheney You Tube videos are a great place to go. I did and did a few practice sessions with the method and started flushing shots, picked up 20 yards off the tee and full club longer with every iron. Am so comfortable with it that all I have to remember now is to set up with my weight left and keep it there. Everything else now happens automatically. Shot 73 recently and am 81 years old. Check these guys out on You Tube. You’ll be glad you did. It will change your golfing life.
