  1. I just ordered a 286 at 52° and a JB at 56°. I'm just replacing the 56° original Sub70 with these. The original is the best wedge I've ever used. I Briefly tried the Kirklands, and some Mac Daddy's this year, they both went right back the the store. Sub70 for me.

Will be interested in your thoughts on the BOA system, and updates as you use these shoes to play to see durability or that system compared to standard laces.  👍

Thank you for providing your initial assessment...........................

I have ecco boa's, I'll never get a golf shoe without BOA again. Easiest to use, most comfortable shoe.

Different brands fit different people for sure, but BOA is everyone.

I've been playing golf since for about 5 years now. I love golf because my dad used to play with me as a kid. I lived in California my whole life until I went for higher education in New York. My favorite golfer is Dustin Johnson. He once said, "It's just a game. I love it. And yeah, I get frustrated, but I try to not let it get me too upset. I mean, I don't get upset over bad shots or anything like that." I like his sporting approach to the game and how he handles frustration.

PS: I got this quote from - https://sportsquotes.us/golf

Where in the PNW are you living?

If I hadn't visited Costco for their wedge deal last week I'd be your huckleberry.

@Thin2win - are you selling your Ventus Blue?

Title says it all.  Looking for a Ventus Blue in Stiff for my TSi2.  Just don't want to spend $300 on a shaft that may not perform as expected.

Looking for the MGS discount if anyone wants to give one up.  I have a multitude of shafts I would be willing to trade for it as well.  3 for 1 deal 😉

Yep, I have one. Plays at about 44.75 with a TM adapter on it currently. pictures here:

  6. I mean, they look good. But I'm a wedge skeptic. I've hit just about all of them, gamed just about all of them and could put any set in my bag for a round and feel good for a about them.

Right now I've got the Kirkland 's. And 3 of those for less than 1 of these is going to keep these out of the bag(or any other brand for that matter).

Didn't the rtx 4 offer different dot options that did the same thing?

I'm going a different direction.  1 want and 1 test:

I want a pay wall, or a patreon option that gives some more behind the numbers numbers. Like a subscription version of TRUEgolffit. but for more clubs and balls than just driver. Let me put in that I'm a sweeper with a xx mph 7i that tends to draw the ball and see which testers were closer to those stats and what worked best for them.

The Most Wanteds are awesome, but still this years Driver test had like 30 drivers. The Epic Speed has the highest chance of being good for the most people and so I tested it, but I just don't have time to test all 30 models and maybe the 27th on the list would have been the best for me because the 2 testers with my swing attributes did great with it but it sucked big time for everyone else. I never even test it.

I think that mostly exists with truegolffit, but get that program expanded to the rest of the clubs and balls. Let me subscribe to it for the year, and let me see which testers I'm most like.  Pay wall it, freeze it in carbonite, don't feed it after dark, whatever, but sign me up and take my money 😃

But since you want a real test... test Maltby products vs the big boys. I've never hit one, but are they just as good? Can an good old fashion club fitter make you a better set of clubs that getting the set of the newest whatever? If it is a cost issue, PM me and I would be willing to provide the funds to add the equivalent Maltby product to every test for this year. I know Sub70 puts out good stuff, and I would guess Maltby does as good or better? but I don't know.

Sorry, I cannot.  As someone who only recently added a non-set wedge to the quiver, I just honestly don't know that much about wedge designs and differences.  I will say the Sub70 is the coolest name... in addition to being lower cost option.  But if cost is the driver, and your position is sound, wouldn't these be the best option?  Did I win the cookie?

I was at Costco this week, went for milk and eggs... got these wedges too. The price is just too attractive. Also, the wedges look really good.
